Sugary Carnival's pricing is going lower year by year, it's at retail now and will probably be below retail in a couple of years. Sweet pastel trend or not, it doesn't seem like a good candidate for re-release.


Somewhat tangentially, I've always wondered why Sweetie Violet never got a re-release. I understand it didn't get an MTO because MTOs didn't really happen until after DDC, but this print sold out so fast when it launched and kept its value well, you'd think there would be more girls asking AP to re-release it.

It was originally close $800 after ss and shipping fees so $1k isn't that much of a mark up considering its high original price. I keep seeing it pop up between $900-1300. If you can't afford that, you couldn't afford a rerelease anyways. Just like the recent MTO for Carnival ran about $500 for the op compared to $300 when it first came out. Chances are it would still cone out to $800 or higher
