I literally just googled Post Con Depression and saw it

This year was great, especially the addition of Tokyo Attack and the expansion of the vendor room. Hopefully the game rooms are bigger next year, they were pretty tiny, but I guess it really depends on what people lend for the weekend. Also there wasn't much panel variety, I'd love to have more interactive panels, but that also depends on what people submit. Hopefully they bring back some popular VAs from video games. I wish Naka was a 24 hour con like Nebraskon

An add-on to this: the staff for to check IDs for 18+ panels this year were MUCH friendlier than last year, I loved them. Last year they were pretty rude. I also feel a bit cheated on my badge since they weren't checking badges for the game/arcade rooms most of the times I went in (which was very often). Also the vendor room and game rooms should've stayed open longer. 8 or 9 would be understandable for the vendor room. Game rooms should be open til the rave ends, I have a friend group that usually splits up at night, it'd be nice to have that open for those of us who don't really dance

They changed policy's for the 18+ panels in the middle of the convention and it fucked a lot of people over, I liked the way they handled it a lot more this year to.

Having the con happen over daylight savings, while needing to get up at 830 to make it to be first in line for the dealers room fucked me up.

This was a pretty good con this year for me, any other bad points were my own fuck ups.

I went to Naka for the first time in literally 10 years on Saturday, and was kinda disappointed.

Do the vendors always close at 6 PM on Saturday? It seems so early! I went after I got off work, and it's my fault for not buying tickets in advance, but I was kinda disappointed that the sake tasting was sold out and didn't really see anything else on the schedule that I wanted to check out, so ended up leaving...still, got a pink Alpacasso and a Bananya keychain, so that was cool.

Sake tasting was alright. The food was meh, but I expected that. We got one shot of each sake (just three kinds), which didn't really feel worth like $25. The guy hosting it was great and had incredible stories of his sake making adventures, which seemed to make up for the price tag.

I had so much fun this year! The snow and cold really threw me off and I missed seeing everyone in the courtyard, but it was still a blast nonetheless! I feel exhausted from it all and getting back to real life is such a drag, but I'm excited to do it all again next year! The seagull meetup was also great! You guys are so nice! I'm glad we did it.

So, this is a combined tl;dr con thoughts from me and my friend who some of you met on Friday.


This year was super solid. Rondonrats was a blast and even though I (Nakanon) did not get to hang you guys were great company on the Line chat.

I hope to chill with you guys at some point, but until then, Ed's got the Line account.

Who knows, maybe we'll do AFW or something.

Thanks for the chil. Shoutouts to Tsundereboys for organizing and everyone who has been chillin' on Line and on CGL. It's been a long time since I had a positive experience with 4Chan.

And then this year there was that campy skit in the cosplay contest with the fat Lightning cosplayer angrily shouting while stripping off her armor layer after layer like as if she was acting out against years of fat shaming in an act of liberation on stage. I felt sorry for the poor marshmallow.

I want to thank tsundereboys for being such a great host at the meetup. I've been going to naka for years but this is the first time I've actually made friends, thank you all :,)
