I mean will NY Anime Fest manage to break the Russia that is NYC anime cons? Is Liberty anime fest any good? Anyone hype for Anime Next and Neo Anime next (Aka crunchyroll replaces Anext), hype for Zentaikcon?

any good popular/well known anime cons in new york or even massachusetts and connecticut?
not many cons in ontario so i'd be willing to go down south a bit and go sight seeing while im at it, just want to make sure it's worthwhile before making a commitment

The best is prob Anime Boston. NYAF got folded into NYCC, but there are some cons trying to bring back a separate Anime con. They're all kinda in their infancy though. CTCon is nothing to travel for, and a bunch of small cons in the area

NYAF is this year, but NYC is like Russia for anime cons, they all die, but coming down for NYCC and doing some NYC tourism is fun. Katsu is well in a month and going to be the huge con dejour.
