it's mostly people don't want to incorrectly label their coords. a lot of time what you're seeing is classic in black, or sweet in black.

gothic is not a pejorative. it's the most beautiful of styles imo but not as popular as others.

That's Boz's iconic Roland coat in the long length. There isn't an under-coat or vest with this, the Roland has a false-waistcoat front to it. Rolands are a staple item that Boz release every year, in a standard version and a yearly variant, in a knee length and a long length.
