Didn't see one in the catalog.
Ledamonsterbunny had a cosplay phase once, and thought this was okay.
Yeah, I think it looks gross and doesn't translate anime to real life at all.
yes she actually is wearing it backwards and here she is wearing the sailor moon underwear backwards
girl on twitter who hates anime and video games but at the same time talks about it non stop and dresses up in anime merch.
She has no job and a son and she just takes pictures of herself all day in new clothes that she somehow affords
kek, I was going to post this. Her caption was something about how sexy she was. Guuuuuurl, noooooooo.
This girl is a goldmine.
She looks like Eddie Izzard.
Found this while browsing aliexpress reviews
she usually throws her fits on her personal facebook set to private, but you can follow her on her cringeworthy dA: http://axelash.deviantart.com/
She has an Encyclopedia Dramatica page under Luvmonkeys and her own /snow/ page on lolcow
You might know her as the creator of the /cgl/-famous poop brooch.
She affords it because she's illegally spending child support on it. It's also popular now to love anime when they don't even like it. Tumblr is a fun place but creates mindless people.
I saw this on fb and I am so uncomfortable and I'm not sure why
here's her instagram if you want to look through
she lives in a house with her son.
I don't know how she affords rent, her new clothes, her new makeup, etc
even with child support it wouldn't cover her spending habits.
She's never had a job in her life either
can't tell what's worse: the makeup or the shoop
This isn't that bad? Brows are too thick and white freckles(?) are a weird choice, but the freckles are less obtrusive than black ones and the rest is pretty much typical instagram style.
Being a BJDfag, I wish Elfgutz would die in a catastrophic fire. Despite being a whiny bitch about people cosplaying her dolls, it's not stopping. I'm honestly surprised this one didn't go overboard with the glitter glue too.
dont know if is the right thead to ask but i cant find anything on catalogand want to avoid making a new thread
so has /cgl/ ever make a top 10 whitening soap?
which one should i get ?
i just want my face to be the same color as my belly-legs
inb4 trumps says latins cant cosplay
In her own words 'super last minute witchy lookin faun. Kinda tribal/voodoo/generally bad guy'
'I went thicker and messier with it simply cause I was rushing and simply cause ya know...I don't give a shit.'
as a Latina cosplayer i feel you.
i tried the one on the left and it worked abit after afew days but it left my skin dry so you might want to use cream while using it, it really just helped with arm spots like underarm darkspots or stuff like that but i didnt notice a skin color change
This raises So many questions. Why did they think it looked ok. Why did no one tell them it wasn't ok. Why does their friend look so shopped when they look like Donald Trump tried to do a facial with a turd.
I'm going to guess a fall fairy of some sort. Not sure why she had to draw her eyebrows higher. The foundation is really caked on her nose and chin; not even the low image quality could hide that.
I dont know but heres another
>he tagged the brand
Was looking for amethyst cosplays when i found this trainwreck.
god, why do so many people think male cosplayers shouldn't wear makeup? it looks so fucking shitty when they don't put any effort into their appearance, and it's especially awful when they put a lot of effort into the actual cosplay but not do ANYTHING with makeup. even if the character doesn't wear makeup, it's a video game character and real faces don't translate without some sort of makeup. 0/10 try fucking harder
lack of makeup isn't bad makeup, it's just a cosplay that could use makeup. it's like saying an outfit that needs accessories has bad accessories.
However I agree that male cosplayers should wear makeup/put more effort into their appearance.
i came to this shithole to show you this because it makes me angry
theres been 50000+ people who have writen down exactly what they use for their cosplay makeup, why cant people just go by whats already been figured out?
Also, his face looks too fat in proportion to the rest of the body. I get some people have rounder faces or naturally chubby cheeks but most people don't have that fat of a neck with those thin of arms.
i found her "webcomic" on tumblr http://hellspawncomic.tumblr.com/ (at least shes self aware about the hell spawn)
also her new tumblr cause she deleted the old one idk
http://ashlikestodraw.tumblr.com/ thought yall need to know this shit (shes rambling on about how she has improved and all that shit dear lord
>all that randomly scattered widely spaced screentone
He selfposted in the OP of a crossdressing thread as Asuka. He didn't look that great, people told him so, and he seemed ok with it at first. Then someone posted him to one of the bad x threads and he came to defend himself, started tripfagging as Edgelord (which is his cosplay handle on FB and insta, as anons found out later). Kept claiming he wasn't bothered but at the same time ran to FB to cry and get asspats. Anons kept posting him to threads to troll the guy.
There's also some transtrender bullshit but that's where I stopped caring. Basically look for the trip Edgelord or for mentions of Asuka in the archives and you'll probably find most of it.
the best part is the comments section on her pictures calling her makeup gorgeous
It makes me sad that this girl doesn't know how to make her chipmunk face more barable to look at
There's worse shit in this thread
But this showed up in the Mimikyu tag and I became irrationally angry
apparently the outsider got his face smeared in a pile of dirt
Without even getting into whatever dramu he's in, his makeup is usually a hit or miss for me. Does anyone else feel this way?
yes. His lipsticks are really not as good as he advertises them to be and what social media makes them out to be. it's sticky and flakes off sooo easily. smudges if you so much as touch it. overpriced I never used mine but idk where to sell them
This guy cut his hair, glued it to his face and sprayed gold colored hair spray.
yeah, but is it bad though?
the answer is no. his technique is alt but very nice.
your opinion of whether or not you like him or his products is coloring your opinion of his execution.
plus, he's not even a cosplayer afaik so this is pretty ot. as much as I'm neutral to his personality, he looks clean and glam
I'm honestly scared of those drawn on lower lashes
If she was going for like a lolita-clown look i think it looks cute, but I get the feeling that wasn't the intention in which case it looks stupid as anything else. Add a tiny cute little red nose though and I think it's okay.
I think she's just not a photogenic person (as in, like me, she doesn't know what the fuck to do with her face in photos. Any kinda tips for that? Usually i just make weird faces at my camera)
I think the gem on her belly is a little shitty but aside from that it's not a bad cosplay.
This is cute
I think she was trying to emulate the Mavis look as she's drawn and the character's mouth to me also looks weird so I think this is a bad case of shitty filter and emulating something in animation that looks stupid in person.
Only thing I don't like is her lower lash liner, it's kinda smudgey and clumpy.
Different anon...It's fine. Its smooth and while the look is odd, she did a good job of applying it and I think it looks cute. Like other anon said, better lighting would make this clearer. You're just jelly.
Either a genderbend or just a faggy cosplay I guess?
As a huge south park fan, I really hate the fandom. The cosplays are all super feminine japanese style desu rather than yknow, fucking all american boys like they are.
I did a cartman cosplay in high school (no longer have pictures sadly) and I did a great job making myself look like a chubby, semi-ugly guy like Cartman, not some super pretty anime faggot.
Fucking hate the south park fandom with a god damn passion.
I'm just mad I can't get cool Kenny/Cartman best friends forever roleplays anymore because it's all gone to shit tho.
Makeup is cute overall tho and so is the cosplayer, but seriously either make it clear it's a genderbend (show you titlumps) or do a male kyle.
Pointing out that if a drag queen is in drag, you refer to them as "She." If the drag queen is a celeb-status queen (Like Pandora Boxx, Alaska Thunderfuck, Sharon Needles, Etc) then they might permanently go by she to anyone who isn't family just due to that persona.
Even amongst transwomen they might switch pronouns depending on what they are wearing. I briefly dated a transwoman (Biggest drama queen ever, wanted me to be a guy despite me not being trans, would've been more than happy to be lesbians with her if she didn't pressure me to be someone I wasn't every step of the way, anyway) and when I asked her about it, since she hadn't told me pronouns to use and still called herself a boy a lot, she told me "Well if I'm sitting here in heels and a dress, don't call me "he" but if I'm in a polo and jeans, i don't like it, but it's better than drawing attention and calling me she."
Ultimately it's always up to the person you're talking about, so if the queen in question uses "he" no matter if he/she's in or out of drag, then use he. Otherwise, saying "she' is always the most polite way to go about it.
If the beard was intentional (I'd have to know what character this is to be sure) then I'd say this looks fine. Sometimes hard to tell if something is shitty or makes sense without context of the character.
Something's off about it but I'm not sure if it was a filter (Some smartphones now have a "beautify" feature that you have to turn off manually that smooths over faces in photos. Sometimes it ends up looking really odd with makeup) or if it's bad application.
The costume looks cute as fuck though so if makeup is all she struggles with she's on her way to being a good well rounded cosplayer.
God why the fuck does scene kid hair still exist? The makeup can look cute when teenaged girls wear it (It gets sad the older you get if you can't pull it off) but the hair looks good on no one. Show me one picture of someone who can pull it off without looking like they're about to go ask their mom for some cash for manic panic and I'll retract it, but i legitimately have never seen a single girl with good scene hair.
Not since 2007. Such dark times for me...
Wow really? Real talk: I LOVE his lipsticks. Can I ask how you applied them, which color you had, if you bought it direct from site (LOTS of unsafe and shitty fakes on amazon and ebay) and such?
If I apply a heavy duty lipbalm before i wear it, they last all day without any smudging or anything for me. I've given my husband a blowjjob without it moving an inch (tmi yes but it proves my point) and even he was like "Wtf is this made out of?" when i came back up.
I use androgyny, masochist, celebrity skin, and occasionally unicorn blood without issue.
I just heavily disagree with you because it's a product i genuinely adore. I think JS is a great dramawhore and his makeup i agree is hit or miss (But i think honestly it's a mix of his style and all of his plastic surgery throwing me off. Like he has dragqueen lips but isn't a dragqueen he's just himself and it throws me off? I like it better when guys overline their lips instead. He looks better with mattes though.
but lemme know anon, maybe i can make that pricey lippy work for you. Otherwise, reddit has a subeddit for unloading unwanted makeup items. I think makeupaddiction (the subreddit) has a link to the one I'm thinking of in particular.
H-how does she think those lips look okay? I think gradient lips are fine but she started with the darker color on the interior, didn't even blend the colors, and to top it all off there's no shape to her lips. Not sure about anyone else, but it always confuses me when people put eyeshadow on after eyeliner and/or lashes. Is that actually a thing or do just inexperienced people do that?
looks a bit like she used the wrong hand putting on her makeup.
isNT THAT Madison Poe lmfao
I was fb friends with her
such shitty makeup
>cosplaying one of the founding fathers
Look, I enjoy listening to Hamilton too, but this is ridiculous. The makeup makes Laurens look like his face got got infested with fucking botflies in the trench.
The question was about his make up brand is any good, not about him himself. Yeah it's the wrong thread but no need to get so salty about it
I had issues with his stuff too. Was really patchy and just eh. Threw them out desu XD but from watching other tubers apparently some first batches were naff and have now been sorted out? One of his deep red ones, I'm crap with names
I'm on mobile and can't zoom into images all that well but I'm going to guess that maybe she shopped her eyes to be longer? That's all I can think of. I've never seen tear ducts that large.
The "V" is a rocky horror picture show thing. Just means it's someone's first time seeing the production. They are in a movie theater with some stage lighting in the background and a red lisptick V on her forehead. It's rocky humor.
This chick's eyebrows always annoy me! she's beautiful but her damn eyebrows ruin her face. She also never blends her eyeshadow color together, which is just the worse.
I know this shit was fucking loved with Attack on Titan was popular, but every goddamn time I saw a Levi with this kind of makeup I wanted to gouge my eyes out.
She might be trying to go for a particular time period. She reminds me of Lucy from I Love Lucy.
Though I agree that it looks awful. It vaguely reminds me of Anita Sarkeesian's terrible makeup jobs in that webseries she's got now about women in history.
Yeah. And people would vehemently defend Reika and all the other terrible cosplayers who did that shit makeup.
I looked through my AoT cosplay folder and I do have this. Any other good Levi cosplays I have saved are only good because the face is obscured.
>Liking that fujoshi shit
baka desu senpai
Though I think there's a difference between looking desu and looking fucking retarded. The pencil-thin eyebrows with stenciled-in wrinkles because they can't be arsed to just furrow their brows for pictures was fucking cancer.
Even worse is when you'd call someone out for this shit and they'd go 'b-b-but my eyebrows don't go like that!' like they can't make basic expressions.
That said, I can't believe there was a time where /cgl/ would praise Reika endlessly. The 3dmg in >>9291368 is so horribly made it looks like a newbie made it, and the handle for the sword literally has sharpie to make the lines for the pattern in the wood. You don't even need to mock that horrible makeup to shit on her.
This one aint too bad, the face is pretty shooped which is fine but at least they don't have drawn on expressions. I dunno who thought this was a good idea but whoever started the trend should apologise.
This chick is on my friends list and I really wish I was joking when I say she posted 81 selfies today.
i think this is pretty cute overall minus the eyes (yes i know that's the focus here)
wtf was she trying to accomplish +2? if those were meant to appear to be gigantic eyes why not make them whiter. and stick to at least a realistic but uncanny proportion. this could have been good.
and heres the cat noir
I've never thought that this looked good on anyone (faking bigger eyes with white eyeliner and placing the lower lashes lower than your lower lash line). Even when it's "well-executed" I think it looks ridiculous.
I don't even hate the application necessarily, but somebody please explain what this misplaced eyelash bullshit fad is about.
I've been crossdressing since I was a kid but never got into makeup. I want to but this thread scares me because I know I'm going to look shitty. I wish I had someone to teach me. How can I git gud?
Just watch youtube tutorials. Find ones you like and practice. Brushes are key. Elf has good cheap shit. Dont post any pics of online or you might end up here. Its ok to take pictures of yourself and learn from them. Good luck.
I wouldn't doubt it. Makeup trends today make girls look way older than they really are. For example: I was standing in line at Sephora recently and overheard the couple behind me talking. They sound like a typical high school couple (their vocabulary, tone, etc) but when I turned around the girl looked like in her 30s. I was in awe.
So, back to the thread's topic: yeah that girl's eyes make her look very aged but I can tell by her skin and neck that she's in her late teens to twenties.
I'm getting sick of this decorated eyeliner trend
