I believe the Crafty Amino is one of the original Aminos, before all Aminos were put into one app. So it might be the best.
I'm on the Lolita and Lolita 101 Aminos. There's some decently dressed members in them. My minimal effort coords have gotten featured which is a nice ego boost. Are there any cgl chats in either? I avoid chats but I wouldn't mind socializing with other gulls above the age of 14.

Honestly I love CosplayAmino because of how much of an ego booster it is. When you have a lot of young and inexperienced cosplayers who don't put out a ton of good stuff, it's really easy to get almost every post you make featured by comparison. Would love to see more quality content on the whole there, though, especially since it seems likes the vast majority of full costumes there are just bought from Aliexpress.

Disneyland Lolita Day, obvious what is, but basically they use to give everyone a button for showing up, just a crappy little "DLD" button to say thanks. Well this year they decided to make a rule saying the button would only be going to people actually WEARING LOLITA (because you know, its disnland LOLITA day)

Then all hell broke loose when a couple of girls complained of being "left out" and "bullied" just because they cant afford lolita :(

Girl went on and on about how clique-ish it was and how it made her not want to do lolita anymore. She complained about how poor she is to show how you cant expect her to have a coord but brought up things like "saving to go to japan, saving to go see my family, paying for my pets" so obviously not that poor.

It was a great shit fest of her trying to guilt trip her way into a free crappy button because she also claimed that ever since her dad died she has a fear of forgetting things so she NEEDS the button so she wont have a panic attack.

Really? Every time I open it, it looks pretty high quality to the point where I just assumed it was all pro-tier cosplayers. Then again that was before I realized there's a different section for latest posts which is probably a trainwreck. For cosplay I just post all my shit to Saiko+ because you can rack up 15-25 likes in under 5 minutes and if you like getting messages from thirsty men to laugh at, there's no shortage of that.

Then again, my first post in the Alt Fashion Amino got me a dude thinking lolita = baby clothes while trying to hit on me.

...Same. I've gotten most of my cosplays featured and I always manage to get a ton of likes on my photoshoot pictures. I don't get as excited about it as other places because the rest of the app is so bad by comparison that anything moderately okay is going to get praised. I don't like that it's so difficult to find good cosplayers. There are maybe a handful of decent cosplays and the rest are just so so bad.

At least it can usually be excused as teenagers not knowing what they're doing.

To be honest I bothered trying for the most part. The only ones that really get me are the big repost accounts where it gets more attention then my own posts.

I mean I don't have the time or energy to go after every single 14 year old RPer that doesn't even know it's a bad thing. Unfortunately when it comes to the big accounts that should absolutely stop reposting my work (90% of the time without credit or misspelled credit) it's an absolute pain to get it down. If they don't do it once you ask, then you'll have to DMCA them which means having to share a fuckton of personal information to take down a single repost.

The only thing I want is for photo sharing sites and apps to just have a 'hey this is a repost' thing where as long as you can easily prove they stole it, there's no need to file an official DMCA. I mean half of the people flat out say it isn't theirs in the same post.
