Honestly I think they did fine. The contest began 40 minutes late and there wasn't any time.

I really disagree with the judges this time. I think almost no one thought Rapunzel could get a prize (in fact, everyone I asked after the contest said so). Rapunzel's costume was pretty good, the embroidery was superb and handmade, but the show was, IMHO, just average, taking into account it's a pre-ECG and that it's about 50-50.

The Labyrinth was an excelent overall cosplay, the sewing, the atrezzo, and the makeup (did anyone notice those eyebrows?), and on the stage, It was way more entertaining. Even Lirin's was, though her cosplay seemed "easier".

It's a pity though, but it's just that. I just hope they make a decent cosplay at Japan Expo.

It's specified that all contestants have one minute to set up the atrezzo and get ready. Some of them exceeded that time by a bit, but this one went too far away. And even then, the judges let them pass. It's unfair to the rest of the contestants who planned a performance within that time limit... Just sayin'

The Berserk skit was PURE SHIT. It has no consistency for a lot of reasons:
>First after-Eclipse Caska appeared with her actual outfit and then she changed to her old oufit EARLY in the history before the Eclipse wf time travel??
>Then a normal-armor after-Eclipse Guts appears fighting along with before-Eclipse Caska some random meaningless skeletons turning their backs to the public

I had a really good Berserker armor cosplayer just in front of me while watching the skit, and his armor was AWESOME, with a lot of blood and lights on the helmet, incredible. He was the one who deserved a prize, not that tangerine seller with such an ugly perverted 40-yo old man.

I know we must post in English but I'd explain myself better in Spanish so here it goes.

¿Quereis salseos? Tomad salseos.

Primero, el Salón, como siempre, organizado de pena, como cada año. Los stands de tiendas llenos de merchan chino super caro, y no se si era cosa mía pero me dio la impresión de que habían menos stands que el año pasado. Los fanzines enanos en un rincón que siempre estaba a tope y no se podía mirar nada. El pabellón 4, que es enorme, vacío con cuatro stands de asociaciones mal distribuidos. El pabellón de comida (es el 1 creo?) con muy pocas mesas para la cantidad de gente que suele asistir al Salón, todo sucio que daba asco, y la comida muy mala y muy cara. No hay nada interesante que hacer excepto dar vueltas mirando stands de mierda y mirar los concursos si te gustan los cosplays. Lo de cada año, vamos. Pues ayer domingo, sobre las 11 de la mañana, cerraron los accesos a la planta baja del pabellón 2, donde los stands/fanzines/zona Nintendo, donde estaba toda la "chicha" del Salón. Y se formaron dos colas, una en la plaza y otra en la salida entre el pabellón 2 y 1, colas de UNA HORA aproximadamente. Yo misma me estuve unos 45 minutos haciendo cola porque mis amigos estaban dentro. Y lo "mejor", es que seguían dejando entrar al Salón a la gente que hacía cola fuera en la calle pero los llevaban directos al pabellón 5, sin ni siquiera tocar la plaza, para hacer una tercera cola de acceso al pabellón 2 igual de larga pero por detrás de los pabellones 4 y 5. Una conocida mía tenia número para una firma de autor dentro del pabellón 2 y no la dejaban entrar!! Una puta vergüenza. Ya sabemos que cada año se organizan peor, pero tan de sobrados que iban de espacio este año y esto es lo que pasa.

Segundo tema, el stand de Xiomi que lo cerraron. Según me he enterado por mis fuentes muy cercanas al tema, la de Xiomi lleva años plagiando y yéndose de rositas. Pues en el Salón, después de varias quejas de chicas advirtiéndole del plagio, fue la propia autora a quejarse, y la de Xiomi le habló muy mal y la envió a la mierda y incluso la amenazó con pegarle!! La autora se fue después de la discusión, y volvió con la editorial, y aún así la de Xiomi seguía con su chulería. Pues además de la autora original y de la editorial, también llegaron los organizadores de Ficomic que les habían informado, y entonces le chaparon el stand. Aún así, las de Xiomi piensan quejarse a Ficomic!! WTF. Espero que las baneen en próximas ediciones, que es horrible escucharla gritar a pleno pulmón "¿¿A quién le gusta el yaoi??". Cringe.

Respecto los concursos de cosplay, vi el concurso de Yokai Watch, la ECG y el WCS. En el concurso de Yokai no se presentó mucha gente, el nivel estaba decente para ser un concurso "normie", y tampoco había mucho para escoger... En la ECG habían un nivel muy muy bueno, las primeras actuaciones fueron espectaculares, pero a medio concurso el nivel bajó bastante. Los de The Witcher lo hicieron muy bien, se merecen el premio. Y la Rapunzel... Bueno, la verdad es que lo hizo bien, desde luego mucho mejor que otras Rapunzels en otros concursos. Pero creo que Taifu lo hizo mejor de Labyrinth, supongo que no le dieron el premio porque ya ganó el año pasado o cuando fuera lo de la CCSS y no querían repetir. Dato importante: la actuación de la Lirin estuvo bien!! El cambio de traje un poco accidentado, pero comparado con la mierda que hizo de Negrolas, pues ha mejorado mucho. Es increible que esté diciendo cosas buenas de Lirin pero si por una vez ha hecho algo bien habrá que reconocérselo. El WCS en cambio tuvo un nivel muy muy bajo. Las únicas actuaciones que estaban al nivel fueron las de One Piece y Magi, la del Smash estuvo divertida pero no como para ganar, y el resto daban bastante pena. Coincido con lo que han dicho por arriba de que los de Berserk tardaron mucho en prepararse, eso no deberian permitirlo. Tampoco deberían atrasarse tanto los concursos, que empezaron con media hora-tres cuartos de retraso (y eso que en la web de Ficomic ponía que empezaban a las 15, pero luego en el horario del escenario ponia a las 16). Y los técnicos de sonido cortando audios a mitad de actuaciones, micros que no funcionan... De pena. La Crispychicken y la Madoka no lo hicieron mal de presentadoras, prefiero que presente alguien que si sepa del concurso que no personas ajenas. Los cosplays que sacaron eran muy bonitos aunque el de Crispy del Nathan de Yokai Watch era bastante pobre.

Así como dato extra sin relevancia, el sábado vi a Koibito de cerca (a menos de un metro) y sin cosplay. Que fea es la hija de puta, es bajita, gorda y fea, tiene la cara llena de manchas muy asquerosas y pegotes de pelo de barba (supongo que por la medicación de cambio de sexo, no se). Daba la impresión de persona poco higiénica, ¿sabéis los típicos otacos gordos y grasientos con la cara llena de granos rojos? Pues algo así. Su voz es horrible también, tiene voz de travelo, me dio grima. Y a Ayuru le ha salido papada. También vi al Gehe porque iba siempre con esas dos, no tiene nuez así que ya sabéis que significa eso.

Yo no he visto Magi y entendí perfectamente la situación. Mis colegas no pillaron NADA de la vuestra. Ni yo, que he visto manga y anime.

Entiendo que estaban los Twin cosplay ahí y dijeron " Oh! Armaduras!!! " y ahí que te lo llevas calentito. El vuestro era un muy bien merecido 3r puesto pero de ahí no pasabais.

Ya por último, decirte no vayas dando lecciones de lo que debemos o no hacer los demás, cuando a vosotros os tendrían que haber descalificado antes si quiera de empezar la actuación por tooooodo el tiempo que tardasteis en subir.

Los que os vais a japón sin merecerlo sois vosotros, eso que lo tengais clarísimo. Después, disfrutad el viaje y pasadlo súper bien, que tiene que ser una pasada! Estoy seguro de que se os ocurrira algo chulo que hacer allí, y suerte!

Ella tiene el poder de curarle, pero en medio de la batalla, se daña por dentro a saco, entre huesos rotos y entre que la propia armadura le clava dientes en la carne, solo un completo ignorante puede decir que llevar sangre en la armadura es algo (inventado/imaginario). Indeed, Guts bleeds A LOT, the Berserker armor heals him (Schierke is always there to try to slow the damaging and also to don't let Guts go crazy but that's other topic) but his body crashes multiple times and he bleeds like all human beings. The eyes of the helmet look like they're bright red and in some panels of the manga they had some glowing/light effect, so the lights that cosplayer made are on spot.

I never said GutsXCaska was uncanon. I said Tobi and Ari's kiss AFTER the performance was DISGUSTING and to get their relationship out of the characters. Guts and Caska never showed their affection so randomly kissing during a battle neither to other people and now Caska doesn't let him touch her so idk wtf are saying with kisses and hugs. Read the fucking manga for god's sake.

I watched Tobi and Ari's skit a couple of times on Youtube thinking perhaps it was better than when I saw it on stage but nope, I still believe their skit is bullshit. Caska did a reversed time-travel shenanigan and she disappears at the middle of the performance, it would have make sense if Caska was first a warrior and then she changes into the present loca del coño but not this way. Also Tobi's armor is not the Berserker armor, is the one before that (the one at the beggining of the manga, it also appears in Berserk Musou if you need references).

For the people who wasn't read the manga or know nothing of Berserk it may seem it was a good skit but it actually wasn't. They won because there were no rivals in armor and prop making, these last three years the WCS cosplay level was very low and they got advantage of it, that's all.

The berserk costumes were bullshit too. Bad armor and totally desproportionated. That shoulders armor made me cry and during the skit the costumes were broke by his movements.... The costumes and the skit were a totally Fail.

Usually cosplayers with armors gets more attention in contests, even if it is poorly done, just wearing a big armor with a big sword makes you win a lot of points. Por cierto ese Guts es una puta mierda inventada tal y como dije antes. Las proporciones y las formas están mal. Guts no tiene sangre ni luces en su armadura ni en la espada. Es todo negro azabache tal como las imágenes indican, así que os contradecís al postear las referencias. Que tampoco hacía falta porque ya las había posteado yo y además en color. Tan sólo me estáis dando la razón. Por mucho que mintáis, las mentiras no se harán realidad.

Os saltasteis el tiempo de monstaje y las limitaciones son en Japon no en la preliminar española.
Se ve que os pica cuando ganais y se dicen todas las cosas que habeis hecho mal. Seria todo mas facil si al igual que unos deberian saber perder otros como vosotros deberian saber ganar. En el mismo evento tuve la oportunidad de hablar con ellos y salió el tema del concurso (no participé en ninguno pero me gusta verlos como cosplayer) y salió lo de los resultados.
Debería haber ganado el chico que iba de Dentro del Laberinto (no pude verle de cerca pero su actuación me resultó muchísimo mas currada y entretenida que Rapuncel y después en caracterización pues aunque tuviera fallitos ya estaba bastante mejor que la chica que resultó ser ganadora...).
Simplemente lo que dije arriba, se encabezonó fatmauth (mi teoría es que le caerá mal el chico, por que no es NORMAL) y ganó la muchacha.

No solo he escuchado mierda de ella sobre el ecg sino de mas concursos, que es lo mas flipante.

Limnauth como jurado no vale una mierda y es sabido por todos que infló la nota de Rapunzel para que ganara injustamente. Desesperó al resto del jurado. Limnauth no vuelvas nunca más.

Viendo los procesos y detalles de las chicas que fueron de Magi (los bordados fueron a mano) no me puedo creer que ganara Berserk, pero como son armaduras y no trapitos es mas llamativo y claro... la verdad es que estaban bien y a las chicas no llegue a verlas de cerca pero he visto su facebook y el trabajo que tienen esos trajes....

yo tambien vi los procesos de las chicas de Magi y son alucinantes.

¿Porqué no han ganado nada? Los bordados hecho a mano no eran lo único que se habían trabajado, yo les vi de cerca y las joyas que tenían también las hicieron ellas, una de ellas tenía dos trajes puestos. Puede que el atrezo no fuera lo mejor que tuvieran, pero los acabados de sus trajes y complementos eran de 10/10, igual que Bersek o mejor en mi opinión y la actuación le daba mil patadas a la suya

Bueno, voy a dar mi modesta opinion como espectador
ecg, habia mucho nivel y entiendo tuvieran dificultades para elegir, pero no me gustaron ninguno de los dos que ganaron. en mi lista estaban:
1º lugar individual y con mucha diferencia respecto a los demás el rey de los goblins, por varias razones, no sólo era un gran cosplay, sino que la caracterización era genial, por no decir perfecta, la actuación fue muy completa, constantemente moviendose y explicando partes de la historia, te mantenía atento en todo momento y además actuaba con mucha soltura sobre el escenario, lo que te metía más en contexto, por decir algo negativo, diría que quizás se excedió queriendo contar la historia al completo, pero desde mi punto de vista fue muy correcta y claramente la mejor.
2ºAhi ya estoy algo más dudoso, me gustaron tres por distintos motivos, pero ninguna para ganar; el capi, me gusto bastante la actuación, salvo la parte en la que hace los movimientos, despues del cambio de traje, si uno no sabe moverse bien o no tiene flexibilidad es mejor evitar ese tipo de cosas, que luego visto queda muy muy raro, el traje ok y el cambio bien, la de Ursula me gusto como actuaba, se movia muy bien en el escenario, las ideas de la actuacion eran realmente buenas, peeeero, esa ursula, ..... era dificil de ver, y en general al verla de cerca perdia muchisimo, y la tercera, rapunzel, he de decir que los bordados eran muy buenos, pero era lo unico que tenia ese traje, el vestido era exageradamente voluminoso, parecia una mesa camilla y esa peluca..... ufffff aun tengo pesadillas con ella, a parte de ni molestarse en estilizarla, la llevaba hecha una maraña, y entiendo que una peluca de esa longitud es dificil de mantener bien, pero esque no llevaba bien ni la parte que da a la cara, en lo que es la actuación, pues en general bien, me gusto lo del libro, con personajes dispares en plan pop up y el efecto de la ventana con las luces flotantes, lo demás, meh, muy visto ya

el lo que es el grupal, Me gustaron las de Zelda, aunque encuentro que ya se pasan con los decorados, una cosa es tener una lona y la otra es pasarse toda la actuación detrás, pero en general bien y los trajes bastante bien las tres, y 100 puntos para el caballo, ver a link encima de la compañera que iba de caballo fue wow, en mi opinion eran merecedoras del primer premio, aunque debo decir que no todo estaba bien e imagino que el jurado se percató de ello.
En segundo lugar yo habria puesto a los de witcher, los trajes estaban muy bien, pero os juro que crei estar viendo una actuación individual del narrador, era al unico que le habria dado premio, los otros dos a mi parecer estaban de decorado, y lo del dragon, si, muy impactante ese tocho atrezo, pero amigos.... que es ATREZO, eso no forma parte del cosplay, ese tipo de cosas no deberian reclinar la balanza a la hora de valorar, en general una actuacion correcta, con opciones, ya el resultado es cosa de gustos personales
Y ya como mención especial aunque no les habria dado premio, las de sakizou, espectaculares los trajes, aunque muy mala idea de actuación, las de fushigi yugi, unos trajes estupendos, aunque el del chico descompensaba, quizas una actuacion solo ellas dos habria sido mejor y los del fantasma de la opera, muy bonitos los trajes y los cambios de vestuario, pero la actuacion se me hizo aburrida y monótona

El WCS, ahi si que saco un poco de espuma por la boca, pero lo razono.

Desde mi punto de vista One piece eran claras ganadoras, lo tenian todo, trajes bien hechos, quizas algo simples, si, pero lo compensaron con un muy buen cambio de traje y una gran actuación, donde ambas tenian el mismo peso sobre el escenario, actuaban muy bien y se movian con mucha soltura, fue una actuación que lo tuvo todo, drama combinado con un toque cómico y un poco de epico, no me gustan los decorados tan tochos, pero hay que decir que hicieron muy buen uso de él, los personajes fisicamente les pegaban y la actuación fue muy entretenida.

En segundo lugar yo habria puesto a los de berserk, es verdad que una armadura lleva mucho trabajo, pero no estaba equilibrada la actuación respecto a los trajes y aunque la armadura no era proporcionada al 100% no hay que desmerecer el gran trabajo que han hecho, ya detalles y punta al lapiz podemos sacarselo a todos los participantes, por mi parte eran trajes buenos con opciones de ganar, peeeero, la actuación no tanto, 1º tardaron muchisimo en montar, eso ya hace que me distraiga y ya pierda interés, la actuacion estaba descompensadisima, Caska sólo sale al principio y luego pasa a ser una actuacion individual de Guts, y en general se les veia bastante patosos sobre el escenario, las ideas de los esqueletos, monstruo, luces, me parecieron buenas, pero igual que en los grupales de la ecg, el exceso de atrezo ya me aburre y al final ganan más por ese tocho atrezo que por lo que realmente debería valorarse.

Como tercera opcion ya a mencionar a las de magi, que los trajes eran bonitos, pero no para ganar y la actuacion les falta bastante, aunque tuvieron algunas buenas ideas, pero en su cabeza debian de verse mejor, porque desde el publico habia cosas que se veian realmente raras y la mitad ni se entendían, pero eso no quita que hicieron buen show y que estaban entre las mejores

El CCCC vamos.... la vaca, ese si que es el unico que el resultado cohincide con mi opinion.

La sirenita estuvo muy bien, tandaron mucho en montar, pero no se hizo pesado, porque ver al sireno en brazos no tuvo precio, Un decorado muy bieno aunque excesivo, los trajes muy conseguidos y la caracterización también, que hay que reconocer el trabajo de crossplay que hay hecho, el sirenito hasta me parecio que estaba to buenorra. La actuación me pareció muy entretenida y claramente fueron los mejores.

La segundas tambien me gustaron mucho, los trajes estaban muy bien, el cambio fue muy chulo, aunque ese efecto no es suyo.... ains.... que os han pillado plagiando performances, pero en general bien, el decorado rotativo fue ingenioso (creo que lo usaron tambien en el ecg o el wcs elas mismas), yo habria terminado la actuación cuando alicia se escapa, pero quisieron hacer mas y fue un fail
y aqui termina mi analisis de este año.... en 2017 más

Eso es porque a Ficomic se la sopla que se cumplan las normas y si bien el jurado tiene que conocer las bases del concurso, su trabajo es no es cronometrar a los participantes. Eso tiene que ser cosa de Ficomic, tener a alguien que haga de presidente de mesa sin voto para controlar ese tipo de cosas.

No vi los trajes en persona, porque no pude ir al Salón, pero a mi me gustaron bastante más las de One Piece que los de Berserk, básicamente porque me parecieron más frescas y originales, sinceramente, estoy cansado de ver la "misma actuación" una y otra vez.

Y lo de que no todos los cosplays vanlen, me parece una puta gilipollez, he visto cosplays aparentemente sencillos, que están más trabajados que otros "tocho" cosplays con los que la gente flipa, pero que si los miras de cerca dan penita. Ojo, repito que no los he visto en persona y no sé si este es el caso, pero tu afirmación es una gilipollez sólo justiifcada porque eres amigo de los ganadores, o porque las que quedaron segundas te caen mal
