ITT: We talk about anything related to crossplaying (males cosplaying as females & females cosplaying as males) and crossdressing
- help /questions / seeking advice to improve
- pictures of good crossplays
- selfposts
- your personal story of crossplaying
>>
I'm going to crossplay for Halloween which might be a little rougher and less tolerant than crossplaying at a con.

Hold me.
>>
>>9215449
In my experiences, Halloween leaves lower expectations, and that makes it easier to dress up without going the full 9 yards just to go out for a day. But I do agree that it can get rough, especially with alcohol involved.
>>
How skinny do you need to be to crossplay successfully

What if I'm just mildly skinnyfat
>>
>>9215542
depends on how revealing your costume is I guess.

I have my doubts as to how much weight even matters, even if the stereotypical passable trap is skinny as a rail.

New to crossdressing here, and holy fucking shit, why don't all girls wear tights? Why can't men? Just started wearing these to bed three nights ago and they're the comfiest thing ever, it's amazing.

Looking to get a sweater dress next, can probably stealthily get one at Wal Mart through self-checkout, they have surprisingly good ones there. Unless anyone knows a good place in particular for a brown or tan cable-knit sweater dress.
>>
>>9215544
wearing tights makes my ass itch cuz the knit digs into my ass when I'm sitting down, plus the crotch (no matter how well they fit) always falls down making me have to awkwardly grab the waistband and pull it up in public
also nice legs, I wanna squeeze em

They do. In this day and age they're marketed to athletes practicing winter sports and referred to as "thermals" or "Long Johns"

Also back in the day (think Napoleonic france) that was a thing among the French military brass. Had a more regal military flavor than womanly.
>>
>>9215548
>plus the crotch (no matter how well they fit) always falls down
I haven't tested it that much, since I only walked around my room for now, but wearing underwear on top seems to help. I wear boxer-briefs myself, since I got no interest in girl underwear unless it's like, old-fashioned bloomers, would look good with meido.
>>
>>9215552
Yeah but those don't have the feet included, I feel like the feet help a lot. But yeah, I know back in the day it was more of a thing, wish fashion for men wasn't so boring nowadays. And women for that matter, but I'm finding there's a lotta great stuff in stores that girls never even seem to wear.
>>
>>9215553
i've tried using "safety shorts" but they don't work very well either, and I feel like just wearing boxers over it wouldn't do anything either...
maybe there's some sort of tights garter belt, but i feel like that would be very weird to wear

as a 5'10'' guy and 190 pounds i'm trying to pull of a complete 180 on myself.
i got coaxed into doing a crossplay for the first time as Saber from F/sn.
need to lose about 50-60 pounds in time for Ax.
i'm on the right track for the body type and the actual cosplay should be done 1 month after i meet my bodyweight goal. the only problem is dealing with my 5 o' clock shadow.
i'm clue-less when it comes to make-up.
how do i even start fixing my neanderthal face?
>>
>>9215682
a good concealer should help, make sure it's a shade lighter than your normal skin though. look up drag makeup tutorials, too

Oh, so maybe $50 for full trap kit?
>>
>>9216266
for a basic kit maybe. Just looking at cheap stuff at a generic pharmacy store (Shoppers/CVS) I'm gonna spend $50 for face related stuff (foundation, primer, concealer, etc.) alone, and then add in eye make-up, lipstick/gloss for lips, a lipstick to cover beard shadow That means I'm probably gonna have to drop $75+ in total for usable-tier stuff. But most of it is gonna last quite a few uses, so to me, it's still worth the money

Pull up and stretch the actual leg part toward your crotch, not just the waistband. The waistband should sit around near your bellybutton, not your hip. I had this problem starting out the first day wearing tights at a con, since it can slide down when walking around if you do it wrong. But I also wear bloomers sometimes since I'm a brolita.

tall-ish ladyanon here: your tights are too short. I used to have this problem all the time, and once I started buying "tall" tights, or buying a size up (usually longer in addition to wider) it magically went away. target has some of my fave tall tights next time you're out shopping

Okay damn you're P much exactly the same shape I'm in. How are you gonna lose weight? I'm probably gonna just say fuck it and go all in, running, eating salads for lunch, counting, etc, etc. Is it possible to lose that much by con season, though? Is 130-140 a bit small? Maybe not for Saber, since she's tiny in canon, but for most, that feels a bit skinny.

Tights.
Get some that aren't shiny or too far off from your natural skin color and you should be golden.
>>
>>9216306
Damn, that would have been a good one.

I'm crossplaying Rem at the end of this month. First time cosplaying and crossdressing, so I don't really know what I'm doing. Besides the drag makeup to get rid of my beard, anyone got any tips for me? Is it worth waxing my chest to avoid it growing back thicker, or should I just shave it? How about my legs - should I shave and then wear tights beneath the thighhighs? What should I wear beneath the (somewhat short) skirt?

I have no skill at costume making, so I just bought one online. I'm wearing it right now cos it arrived earlier today, so I'll post pics if requested en mass.

Just buy it from the store. No one actually gives a shit. I stopped by CVS on my way home from the skatepark the other day full boy mode and got some lipstick and a red bull. the people at the counter didnt even give me a second glance. I live in an Appalachian college town surrounded by evangelicals for reference. Confidence is key.

An overweight soccer mom with a talktothemanager haircut did slightly squint while i was picking it out though. I just assume she was jelly.

Retard from /r9k/ here. I want to go about cross dressing on halloween. I was thinking of just doing a witch costume nothing too crazy but also nothing tacky. I don't mind having to spend too much time or money (in fact I have too much time/money and nothing to do). I am an average height but fairly skinny man, my physique is decently feminine. I have never crossdressed before (or even cosplayed) so I am fairly confused on how to go about getting started on this. Also doesn't help being unironically autistic. Can you guys here please help me out?

I tried to take pictures but the shitty camera I have doesnt work (dont buy cheap chinese shit). The only two other ways I could get pics is by either giving 144p tier quality dark as heck pics from my shitty 20 dollar phone or to take naked photos of myself with my fathers. Frankly I don't like the idea of either of those.

I could go a bit more into detail, I am about 172cm tall and 50kg, my shoulders and hips are equally far out. my thighs are big and I have thigh gap, my butt is fairly round I guess, generally a lot of my meat is in the thigh/butt area (although I never had a crazy amount of "meat" to begin with being underweight). My chest and abdominals aren't really muscular and dont really have any significant fat on them, I have thin arms.

The only places I think are a bit manly is my collar bone shows fairly well because of my thinness and also my hands arent very feminine, my face isnt particularly manly but isnt feminine either. its the sort of face where I feel if I had a good wig and outfit on most people would think I were a girl unless they looked closely.

I want a witch costume that works with the most feminine part I have (thighs) I want a shortish skirt (not slut short but not knee length) with some knee high socks. I was also thinking of having some of those fancy black gloves that go a decent way up your arm to cover my skellethands. For the hat I guess I want something a bit curly. I want a slightly wacky looking getup I dont want to just have a completely normal looking outfit.

Thigh highs might fall down so wear tights underneath or sock glue. Just wear safety shorts underneath the skirt.

The thighhighs struggled to stay up for even a few minutes, so sock glue I'm also getting.

I was also planning on stuffing a bra with socks to wear. Any better recommendations for that, or does simple work best here?

>tfw not willing to shave my arm hair
>severely limits crossplay options

I wear t-shirts everywhere, I think it'll be pretty jarring to everybody around me to suddenly have no arm hair.
>>
>>9219405
Shape wise you look fine really. I'd fluff up the skirt abit more with a underskirt/pannier. Does your beard grow back quickly and guve you an obvious shadow when you shave? And how long does it take for that to happen?

Plus it doesn't seem like you really need to do much about your chestbhair since you will be padding it up with a bra. I personally dont like socks cause they are abit rigid and not exactly the right shape, but if you don't feel like sinking cash for a pair of sillicone forms for the long run they will do I guess. Or pantyhose filled with rice
>>
>>9219468
It may be jarring to some, but I've never had someone actually call me out on shaved arm or leg hair, so good luck doing you
>>
>>9219076
I used to have long hair and I think people might of on occasion thought I was a girl but long hair is annoying so I just keep it short now. Also tfw no help so far.
>>
>>9219043
Body? Shave first, then let it grow back to correct epilating length then get to ripping with your device of choice. If you don't shave/regrow the hair short first it really hurts, the natural length hair is usually too long.

Basic stuff includes getting your costume settled first, along with wig and makeup. Get measurements of yourself after padding up before ordering the costume off taobao or something. Since this IS a cosplay board I'd suggest something like Blair (soul eater), Marisa (touhou project) or Dorothy (MAR) should be pretty common finds on taobao. Next bit involves makeup but unless you can post a pic... pretty sure we can't help you much solely based on your description.

And we dont need nudes. Tight fitting garments work just fine
>>
>>9219575
Like I said I am autistic, I probably won't even go outside wearing it so I probably won't wear that much makeup (if any). I just want to do something fun for the sake of it. I assume the dress you choose is the most important part? I guess you pick a nice dress and build out from there. I will start doing some research I guess.
>>
>>9219587
If you're just doing it for fun in privacy then go ham and do whatever, it's you're hobby. Have fun.

>>
>>9219471
The skirt has a plastic pannier ring built in, it's probably just hard to see in the picture. Should I get an underskirt to go along with that?

Beard grows back pretty quickly, so I'm probably gonna shave on the morning and use the colour neutralisation + concealer thing to make sure there's no shadow.

I'm mostly worried about chest hair because the costume doesn't cover the upper chest that well. I could go for silicone forms maybe, but I'm not sure. Are they that much better than socks/rice-filled panthose?
>>
>>9219986
Entirely my preference but I usually want my waist to balance out my shoulders. Since guy shoulders are usually a give away to the whole crossplay thing. I think it should be optional since you have some kind of structure already in the skirt.

Sillicone is convenient simply because it is low fuss and pretty hardy. Water balloons and rice filled hose may leak due to chance and require abit more eye for finesse when shaping them to make them fit realistically. I'd definitely reccomend investing in breast forms if you want to continue crossplay
>>

Go with a character who wears long gloves maybe?

Don't bother with eyebrow if you only crossplay occasionally. Google dry glue eyebrow, it's very simple and works well as long as you let it fully dry.

My city actually has a large Halloween ball with costume competition, and one of them is crossdressing/ trans category. Got sick last year right before the party, now my wisdom teeth is poking out right before Halloween.

I actually do think the costume would look better without the beard, but I personally love that way the beard frames my face when im in boymode. I dont think i want to shave it off for just a day. Plus the beard helps hide the fact i like wearing women's clothes.
Also, I dont want to spend any more money than I already have. The heels were expensive enough as it is.
>>9222341
Actually a little bit of both. I do have a big head naturally, but foreshortening makes it look so much more bigger. I had to bend my body downwards to get my face in the picture.

>>
>>9222762
It looks gross because nobody expects beards on a cutie pie of a schoolgirl. It looks fine in boymode.

Is there some kind of social stigma against facial hair on this board? I thought the point of crossdressing was to blur the gender binary so that men can wear pretty clothes. Im a crossdresser, not a transgender.
>>
>>9222760
>I dont think i want to shave it off for just a day. Plus the beard helps hide the fact i like wearing women's clothes.
Feels like you are compensating than anything else. I'd be more suspicious of you like this than if you tried to do it properly. Just the shoes alone out you because they clearly are not something you asked random female friend to lend you and also are clearly new.

>Also, I dont want to spend any more money than I already have. The heels were expensive enough as it is.
Why are you even into crossdressing if you don't wanna spend money? This is a expensive hobby friend.

>>9222776
>It looks gross because nobody expects beards on a cutie pie of a schoolgirl. It looks fine in boymode.
Gee, seriously? Who'd have ever thought that facial hair looks normal in guys and abnormal in females.

>I thought the point of crossdressing was to blur the gender binary so that men can wear pretty clothes.
This is not tumblr friendo. Go somewhere else with your imaginary sexualities and pronouns.

>Im a crossdresser, not a transgender.
Since when wanting to look pretty, cute and girly when dressing as a girl means you are a transgender?

If you wanna do your crossdressing while keeping your beard and stuff then all the more power to you, just don't expect to not be criticized here when 99% of the time people crossdress is because, you know, the wanna look like the opposite gender as much as possible. There's a reason the term passing exists, you know? That alone brought traps to existence, actual traps, not I put on stripped pink and black thigh highs and post pictures of /v/ of my lower body on /v/ trap.
>>
>>9222856
Why do people assume I have an obsession with passing. It's not that important to me.
Just let me have a beard and wear pretty clothes. You're not doing me a favor by telling me to shave it.

That has more to do with cosplay being expensive in general, not because you're breaking gender boundaries. Maybe just a little extra for the silicone breast forms or whatever but your frou frou frilly dresses cost the same.

>>
>>9222776
>crossdressing
You are incredibly delusional. If people tell you it's creepy and gross... guess what? Maybe they are right and your personal opinion is wrong.

The point of crossdressing is to look like the opposite gender through clothing and makeup. Your special tumblr definition is wrong, what you're looking for is probably androgyny. But what you are actually doing is creepy ass drag. Wearing a beard and a skirt is parody when done right, and incredibly gross/perverted when done wrong. Yours is the latter.
>>
>>9222936
crossplay usually go in 2 opposite directions.
The crossdress type try to pass or at least look feminine.
The drag type would try not to pass on purpose just to be funny.

The whole beard + maid outfit look wouldn't really count as "interest". You will find some chubby guys in unshaven neck-beard wearing girly outfit. When it's really over the top it actually works as comedy. But that really doesn't require must effort and "interest".
>>
I probably missed some posts but I'm an Asian male wondering if there are tutorials and recommended sets of makeup to make myself look more feminine possibly to the point where I won't be recognized (it won't really matter but it'd be nice) I have a light tan and minor eczema.

I appreciate the help.

If you haven't tried padding out your hips, that can help a lot. Try different sizes of padding in a bra- some frame types look better with larger or smaller breasts. And keep in mind that not all body types look good in all styles of clothing. Lolita style dresses, a-line dresses and quipaos look good on a variety of body types- school uniforms and bodysuits only look good on a few.

I read this like 5 times by now and I still am baffled how you came up with this logic. Are you trying to go for the "I'm being forced to do this" angle? Or is it some weird "guys who don't have beards like wearing women's clothing" idea? I am actually stumped.

>>9222776
>Is there some kind of social stigma against facial hair on this board?
No, but from what I gather based off the flow of these threads, MtF crossplay and having facial hair are mutually exclusive unless you're going for an ironic cosplay.

>I thought the point of crossdressing was to blur the gender binary so that men can wear pretty clothes. Im a crossdresser, not a transgender.
Your definitions are all kinds of whack, my friend. Are you saying that people who shave their beards in order to crossdress are transgender? Maybe it's because I'm somewhat old and don't know the new definitions of things, but last I checked crossdressing as a girl and taking hormones in order to become a girl were two completely different things.
>>
>>9223015
Okay, holy shit. I made a mistake trying to compare crossdressing and transgenderism.
Though you should also understand that there are more reasons to crossdress than just the standard 'I'm trying to pass' and 'I'm doing it as a joke.' Your "two directions" isn't accounting for literally every other direction.
>>9223532
I'm probably under the false presumption that people will see the beard and think "okay he didn't bother shaving it, so he probably doesn't do this often." I know some people are smarter than that, but I can still rely on humanity's inherent stupidity, right?

I happen to enjoy the idea of identifying as a male who can wear feminine clothes. I don't want to pass, and I don't want it to be a joke. I like my beard, I like my masculine features, I like skirts, and i like heels. There's no reason I can't have both.
>>
>>9223754
>"okay he didn't bother shaving it, so he probably doesn't do this often."
I have no idea what planet you live on, but this logic doesn't make sense. People who think it's weird will think so no matter how infrequently you crossdress. And keeping your beard will get you even more negative attention from those people, because it will be immediately apparent you are not a girl.

>I don't want to pass, and I don't want it to be a joke
What in-between do you think exists? If it weren't a joke, most would expect you'd at least go through the effort of shaving. You're making excuses to half-ass it, it's the same as skipping any other major detail of a costume.
>>
>>9223479
When I'm doing shota, I do the basics of my masculine contouring, just...not as dark/pronounced, and I don't emphasize my browbone or thicken my eyebrows as much. I also make sure to emphasize my highlight and put some pink blush on the apples of my cheeks. And maybe a slightly pinker lip than normal, but nothing crazy.

I feel like a lot of people keep bringing up issues with how they'll be identified or perceived from crossplaying, and how much they DON'T want to be perceived incorrectly, which feels weird to me cause my whole reason for ever having done any crossplay has been to make myself identify with a character that I like, not because I want to reidentify myself as a person. I think it takes a certain level of comfort with yourself and being able to separate your personal lives and realize that just because you want to cosplay a character that inspires you doesn't mean that it should define you as a person outside of that cosplay.

The glue thing is terrible, you get a bad texture and it doesn't cover correctly. Basically all you hairs get covered in glue and get thicker. Then they clump together. If you pencil over that you get a thick haired eyebrow effect, but around that you have this bumpy hair skin effect. Just bleach it FFS, takes 2 minutes and you can pencil your brows back after.

Most people I see use a choker/similar neck accessories to cover it up, but you could also wear tops like turtlenecks to cover it, and if those options don't suit you, then you could probably find a way to hide it with makeup

Crossplay newbie here. Just curious as to where you guys shop for corsets and what us the average price range for a decent one? Plan on doing Makise Kurisu for next Anime Expo. Corsets run from cheaper and less defined shapes to customised ones which are tailor made to shape your body in a certain way. For cosplay I doubt you will need a superb corset so a cheap one off taobao will set you back less than 20-30 usd

Opposite buddy, a better corset will have a more lasting effect, see "corseting". If you are crossplaying for a hobby and aren't trying to transition, you want a normal cheap corset, just to bring in your boy waist and amplify your hips.
>>
>>9226673
Unless you want to do corset training, the corset will only on a couple of hours during a con or a photoshoot. It shouldn't result in anything more than discomfort in my experience. It isn't like you are taking 10 inches off your waist, it is really there to give you abit of shape and definition.

Well, I'm back from the session. Here's my experience in case anyone is interested.

It goes without saying that I'm doing laser on my face to get rid of facial hair.

I lied down, got some paste all over where the laser was gonna have go and had to wear an eyemask. The laser feels like a mix of heat close to your face, like, putting your hand close to a lightbulb but not touching it directly, that's about how hot I felt it. Furthermore, besides the heat, you may feel stinging here and there with every burst of the laser, it felt like getting electrocuted for one second this was a little painful but it's completely bearable and doesn't last even 5 seconds per sting.

All in all, it took less than 10 minutes. Gotta go again in 21 days.

>>9227773
Thanks for the compliment sweetie.
>>
>>9227355
First time is painful as hell, if they do it, take the numbing cream.
It gets better though, had my third session on that post.
>>
>>9227853
Well that was quite the timing. Guess thats what I get with a late reply.
Good that it went great though, mine uses some souped up laser that if its adjusted wrong gives you a world of pain.
>>
>>9227854
The lady attending me told me the same, that as it went it would be less painful because the hair would be weaker. The stinging is mostly on the places with thicker hair.

>>9227856
I have a mole on my upper lip and lady told me that it would probably hurt even more there but finally enough I didn't felt anything there, all the pain was everywhere else.

How have the effects been for the both of you? Have you noticed any decrease or slower growth yet?

>If I ask she will put on my makeup for me
Can't get much more hands-on than feeling someone else put it on your face, and it's discreet because she doesn't have any clue on how to break it to others that I'm not actually gay, because then her bf would fly off the handle at her
>>

>>
>>9228889
While this is true for many, this is not the case for me. For me the problem was that my last girlfriend wanted sex a lot more than I did. It got so bad that she ended a 6 year relationship over it. So now anyone that knew me around that time assumes I'm gay, or that she turned me gay.

Okay, so this alone is a big question I've been having for the longest time and it's tough for me to ask even as an anon:

Is there a point of no return when it comes to masculinity? I'm probably overblowing myself on that front, but I feel like I'm way too mannish and many of the things that seems suggested as fixes may end up backfiring with even worse results.

Crossdressing and generally aiming for a more effeminate look has always been an attractive prospect for me, but I'd rather know if maybe I'm just not cut out for it.

Euuuh, boy. I'm really iffy about having pictures of me exist, let alone posting them on the chans. Less for you guys and more for my own autistic insecurities.

I can try a description of sorts, if that'd be sufficient, though if not I'll try to nut up and bite the bullet. Anyways: 5'9". 161 lbs. Jet hair. Very hairy (God I hate it so much I hate even the word desu. Whether or not I'm built for it, I'm planning on removing it) on the lower body area from lower stomach to ankles. Some on arms too, but barely noticeable and I often take a razor to them too anyways. I guess one of my bigger problems is my shadow of sorts, especially up top on my face where, no matter how many times I show that razor to and fro, those damn black specks that make it obvious what was there remain. As you can probably tell, I'm -really- not fond of any hair on my body that isn't on my head or eyebrows, so advice on that regardless would be awesome.

If this isn't enough, well fuck me then. I really want to know and I'm willing to let my desire override my insecurity this one time, again, if there's no other way.

You will probably find that you'll do better in other people's eyes than your own.

Like I think of myself as super macho, rugby player tier but my friends find me cute when I crossplay, (I once got a proper handshake by some guy when my friends revealed I was a guy, that was odd. Oh and got my childhood friend interested in me)

Well besides the designated alt-right friend who just hates it when I do it, but triggering him is part of the reason I always do it on halloween.

Does anyone have tips on how to pose with your legs girlishly? I ended up looking very manly in a lot of pictures where you can see my legs (pic very, very related).
>>
>>9230128
I don't doubt it, considering how incredibly critical I am of myself and, to a lesser extent, everyone else.

To be honest, I'm kinda thinking of putting a picture out there just to facilitate things, but I'd assume I need something form fitting. Considering a lot of my clothing are from of the old days where I was bulkier (read: Fatass), I don't really have anything that isn't loose anyways. Buh.

The issue is also that I've thought of this kind of stuff for a long time and this is my first time as a whole interacting with a community that revolves around it to any extent, so that's another contributer to instability. I guess.
>>
>>9230135
You can do it shirtless, if you want. Male chests are okay on blue boards, I think.
And I can understand your hesitance, it's 4chan and all. We don't really give much of a shit about doxxing and all that, we're just guys in skirts.
Your call though.

From what I can tell of your measurements in >>9230064, toning down your shoulders is your biggest obstacle. Unfortunately that's not easy. Long wigs can help cover it, and just don't wear anything that draws attention to your shoulders.
Your chest-waist-hip ratios seem okay though. Maybe with some cinching on your waist (doesn't have to be a corset, Shapewear might be fine).

>>9230132
I guess.. Don't lock your knees. Try to work your calves, girls usually have more pronounced calves, making the leg look more shapely. Heels help too, even if it's a small heel.
>>
>>9230135
If you don't want to leave your photos uploaded on 4chan, upload your stuff on imgur and delete them 1 month later.
>>
>>9230236
Oh, the heels... I had to buy women'sshoes with flat soles since they were the only ones in my size that vaguely resembled Asuka's, so any way to do it with those?

And what calf exercises are most useful usually? I currently do squats.
>>
>>9229739
Well yea, underwear underneath and safety shorts and a skirt but every time the knit still digs into my ass.
>>
>>9230236
If I can get confirmation on it being okay, I guess I'll do it while scratching out the face. Not exactly a lot of people know my body type anyways.

As for my waist, I'll have to concede I have a tiny bit of I've been working on shedding. It's been hell, though. I've lost a good ten pounds to reach the lower end of my healthy wait and the bothersome thing is still there. The only exercise I know that would slim it down would give me rather noticeable abdominals in the process.

Though yeah, if I won't get slapped around by a mod for posting something shirtless, I'll just do a leap of faith and jump ship if everything falls apart. Pff.

I gotta say, the friendliness caught me off-guard. Pretty effective in coaxing people out.

>>
>>9230132
You are standing with your legs too far apart. That's how I stand when I pretend I have balls lol. Also swinging your bag behind your shoulders like that is a very manly gesture. Sure, some girls do it, but when you're crossdressing, you should be aware that some things will amplify your manliness (this is one of them). >>9232177 gave some good pointers too. Your hands should be on the hip that's sticking out, yeah. Better yet, you should place it on your waist. Center of gravity should be pressed on the one leg (the one on the side of the hip that's sticking out). Honestly, I don't think it'll look very feminine since you won't 'lock' into position properly (men's hips are different from women's).
>>

Just don't be a namefag/tripfag or throw a tantrum over criticism. The board likes drama, but can dig up so much that it has a short term memory. Just censor your face if you're worried. It's difficult to give advice for passing when there aren't any visual references.

I also got coaxed into doing a crossplay. At first taken as a joke but now it seems to be taken seriously.
Me with mine 100 pounds and 5'20" height was set to do crossplay of lovely Saber.
I decided to do the Casual outfit because I like it more and I just don't have the money to buy the sword nor am I a skilled with doing homemade props.
Probably will take Shinai for comedic purposes.
I will need to adjust the wig 'cause my manlet head is too small for it. Also will try to look for a bigger shirt cause even thou it fits I just feel it's short for me. Maybe I am just not used to wearing woman clothing.
How do I look anons? What advice would you give me?

> coaxed
Sure sure, you got nothing to be ashamed of. New time try one of the following:

> As a dare I
> I lost a bet and
> I slipped and fell and
>>
>>9234956
You could get a skirt that hits about knee length for accuracy but just keep the current one in case you can't find a suitable one. Do you have something to pad out your chest? I know Saber is kinda flat but I think if you keep it to a tasteful size it can help a lot with the illusion of femininity.
>>
>>9235005
Well I got talked into it. At first it was only a joke but it turned out like this. But I won't argue that I don't like it.

>>9235007
I have bra and some pads that I will include in it. I don't want to be all flat Saber. These were just test photos.
Don't know about the skirt. I will probably keep this one.

I have a weird question, I want to cosplay a dude who have a pretty thin waist ( and mine is not thin ) he have a low necked top ( so I have to do a open chest binding ) the only solution for the waist is to where a under-breast corset. But I'm afraid it can do rolls of skin between my chest and my corset. If someone ever try to do this, could he gave me advice .
>>
>>9235095
Madotsuki is very thin and willowy- might be hard to pull off if you aren't that shape to begin with. Her hairstyle (twin braids) is also not complimentary to all facial shapes. Cards on the table- this might be a tough one for you to pull off if you don't look somewhat like her to begin with.

That said, the outfit itself is simple- pink turtleneck and dark skirt. Buy both from Amazon, try them on and if you don't like what you see, you're only out $30 or so.

>tfw 45 inches (114 cm) in circumference around my upper chest

I measured right at the bottom of my breast along the apex of my spine on my back to give the largest number. However going higher or lower along that point would only make it 44 inches if anything. From the front I'm just wide however from my side profile it's highly obvious that my entire chest could fit two heads in it's width.

See pic

How the fuck do I work around this?

Also if anyone wants any sort of context into who I am. I basically look like yung lean except with longer and thicker hair (but still short,) In an overall scale I'm 4/10. 6'1'' As one of my exes put it "You're an ugly cute boy 3/10." but that was a while ago and I'm 4/10 now for sure.
>>
>>9237231
dude, just wear a bra and pad a bit. I have breasts and a 120cm bust. you don't have to be super slender in order to pass. just tailor your looks in a more fitting direction. don't try to take the stereotypical pixie waif route. you can be tall and wide and still feminine. study the looks of famous women who have similar body types for inspo

also, always find a way to comfortably accentuate your waist, without looking too pinched.
>>
>>9237250
Can you post examples for me? I'm honestly completely in the dark on the matter being shy my whole life.
>>
A few threads ago I posted about getting LesLoveBoat's zip front binder (not the cool mesh one, the other one) but I got the wrong size so I had to return it and they're located in Taiwan so it takes forever. I was worried about it not arriving in time for Halloween, so I panicked and bought Underwork's Post-Surgical Power Compression Vest in size small because I know their size small fits me and they're literally located one state south of me. But the LLB binder arrived today so now I have two front-closing binders to compare if anyone is interested in a comparison or review. I also can compare it to the Underworks Tri-top because that's what I wear daily (not trans, just like a flat chest) and have been for a few years, although mine are all about a year old now.
>>
>>9237231

A "barrel chest" is a problem that I have, and here's how I work around it and my wide shoulders. I bought a fabric cup DD bra that's two band sizes too large for me, and stitched up the excess band in the back so it fit. The effect is that the cups wrap farther around the sides of my chest than a "properly fitting" bra. And when I stuff the bra, I don't fill it full, I put only about 1-1/2 to 2" of padding in it, letting it wrap around my chest. As long as I don't wear anything that's too tight at the underbust, I just look like I have large breasts.

Add some extra padding at the hips and butt to balance everything out, and you'll look naturally curvy.
>>
Any idea on how to remove facial hair that is dark and coarse but with light skin? Cartridge razors don't seem to work, should I switch to a old fashioned safety razor?
>>
>>9238469
If your facial hair isn't very dense, you should consider plucking. Other than that the best you can do is get as close a shave as you can and use beard cover.
>>
>>9223792
this turns me on.
>>
>>9238469
A safety-razor-using anon here, you can get a really close/smooth shave with one but it takes a bit of practice. Invest in a badger-hair brush and good shave soap if you're serious about it, they make a huge difference too. I use one for my normal shaving, haven't touched a cartridge razor in ages and don't regret it. Look up guides before you try using one or risk mutilating your face though, cause that ain't kawaii.

But! If you're like me with the dark hair and light skin, even a perfect shave will still leave visible stubble/shadow because you can see the hair just under the skin. Nothing you can do about it shaving-wise, at that point you just gotta girl up and use makeup to cover it.
