It looks like they've put a lot more thought into the plot this time around. Episode one was a good mix of silly Show by Rock antics and introducing the overarching plot.
I can't wait for more people to start cosplaying the new girl band.

I'm not too sure on what the anime versions of those two miss out but maybe at first do the anime version and then if you have time later, fix it up to game detail? I made Peipein recently and the thing that took by far the longest was all the laces and trims.

I'm overjoyed to see this thread! A bunch of my cosplans are SB69 and I'm so excited for the upcoming season.

I loved how flashy they made the musical costumes, with sequins even on the Shingan Crimsonz. I think a lot of cosplayers don't realise that the characters outfits, while they may wear them all the time in the anime, are going to be flashy since they use them as stage costumes

Last time we had a thread there was quite a lot of interest in the AGF designs from last year. What do people think about this years? I'm disappointed by how normal everyone else looks but I'm excited about seeing Trichronika cosplayers.

I love the over all theme they have going on with thief and detectives, but it is a shame everyone else bar trichron is quite plain. Though I'm sure you could jazz up arcarea and not have it look out of place.

I'm disappointed that every prince AGF costume I've seen has been really lack luster, though >>9208196 is really nice.

There's quite a few good ShuZo's around and some nice twins. No one really seems to do the Shingan Crimsonz except Rom and every Rom cosplayer from that set just looks like they've been talked into doing it by their ShuZo and they don't want to be there.

I'm working on Cyan & Retoree cosplays right now. Anyone have some good examples of them? Most I've seen have been pretty bad but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

what version of her are you looking at? I've found people who cosplay the girls are always really solid, but one thing to look out for Cyan in particular is getting her curls correct. A lot of people are really lazy with either giving her lots of tiny curls, or just have the wig in a weird wave, like Maki wigs. Thick drill curls are the way to go imo. Also take what >>9210058
said into account, and don't be afraid to use fabrics that are quite glitzy.

Thank you!! I'm just doing their normal outfits. Honestly, Cyan's curls are going to be the hardest part to get right. I really want to do them right, but last time I tried they didn't stay at all. I might need to glue the fibers together or something.
Also I feel like a lot of people get lazy with her ears & tail.

hmmm. There are Madoka Mami drill curl tutorials about, maybe look at them for starting inspiration but just make them a lot tighter and not quite. . so structured I guess is the word? Even bulking them out with foam may help. You'll definitely need to weft a few wigs together to get the volume.

Yeah, a lot of sb69 cosplays get ruined with lazy animal parts. Making them from fur is always safe, and in proportion to your own head. I've remade my Shuzo ears about 3 times now, just from learning better ways of making them look more natural.

Well if you weren't self posting, a little advice for future, don't post that image again, their costume is lazy in parts and slightly inaccurate, he should be wearing at least simple make up and nail polish before he can even be considered good, let alone great.

I wish they'd get a cameo. sb69 should stick with doing shorts and go through all the bands rather than full anime seasons. Speaking of the anime, I hope someone cosplays Moa's cute princess dress.

I like the full seasons but I hope they'll do more shorts even after the anime's ended. It might be a bit hard to get collab bands to do them but SB69 originals should be fine.
I'm sure someone will, Moa seems to be pretty popular as a cosplay choice and fans seem to enjoy doing alt cosplays.
