Post apron coords!
What do you think of aprons in lolita fashion? What about in other fashions? Do you ever wear an apron (other than for cooking and cleaning)? What do you think of maid lolita? What about alice inspired dresses with an apron? When will aprons finally become popular?

Would wear them to clean my house. Other than that it looks too costumey to me so id only really purchase a dress like that second hand and throw it away after it got super dirty. I also hate cleaning, it makes me kinda depressed so being super cute while cleaning helps me be less depressed and more focused on cleaning and being adorable. Also maid lolita isnt really lolita to me its more of a costume playing on lolita elements. Still would wear the shit out of a maid outfit and clean my house because im a weeb at heart.

I think using maid elements in lolita isn't more or less costumey than using princess elements, and aprons have been around in lolita fashion since forever ago. But dressing as an actual maid with lolita inspirations is not lolita.

I love aprons in outfits oh my gosh. The diner doll OP was too cute. Extra points for me if the outfit is Alice inspired and includes an apron.
Sometimes I make polyvores and draw them. This was a coordinate I put together and drew quite awhile ago. But it uses an apron so I thought it was appropriate to share
noob question: are aprons only used in classic and sweet lolita?
>>9201457
no?

Not at all
My favourite apron dresses are from ETC because they don't look like I'm wearing cleaning attire out of the house. I like white aprons as well tough.

I love this coord

I see them most with sweet lolita but they can be worn in any style. A friend of mine has an Elegy apron.
Does any of you use aprons to actually protect your dresses when you're cooking?
>>9201493
Yeah, just like normie tier aprons though haha. I've had some lolita friends come over and do baking. So we all wore aprons that I had.

I have some cheap secondhand lolita aprons that I use for cooking, I don't really get dirty tough. It's just handy because they have pockets that I use for my cellphone (which I use for recipes).

Cute art style! Love the colors
I work in a bakery and just seeing how some of these are super impractical kills me. I know it is for looks, but I can't get over sheer aprons. Even for cosplay purposes.
