Waluigi looks terrifying

Jessica Nigri is the Vic Mignogna of cosplay. Always does the same thing and never really changes it up, just like her outfits and makeup. Bikini this, bikini that, smokey eye this, smokey eye that. She is literally a one trick pony when it comes to makeup. My main peeve with her makeup is that she never looks like a character. At this point she's just Jessica Nigri who sorta looks like Sonico or Jessica Nigri who sorta looks like Cinder and not just Sonico or Cinder which is the opposite of what someone should aim for in a good cosplay.

Very true. If you really have to have glitter, it is important to invest in cosmetic grade glitter that's safe for the eyes and edible. Even though most glitter doesn't photograph well so I don't recommend it.

I worked at a place that had glitter make-up and I always had to deal with a few people freaking out because they thought we were putting craft glitter on them...

I do remember hearing a lot about how they had no black models? I usually end up finding customer photos anyway before I determine if a wig would look good with my skintone so it's whatever to me. Looking at their stuff now, it seems pretty overpriced. And I'm not sure of the quality but the wigs don't look that great.

Several things went wrong with this company. I have friends who worked for/photographed for/modeled for them in their early days, so I have a bit more insight than just the Tumblr rants and e-drama...
They photoshopped all of their models to be lighter. If the Photogs didn't do it, they made their own staff lighten the models' skin in all product photos.
They only had 1 non-white model for a long time (the owner's niece). She was Asian, and they constantly shooped her to look "whiter".
Their quality drastically dropped within the past few years, but their prices sky-rocketed.
The owner is mean and used to bully some of his models, mocking their faces or bodies in Facebook messages & emails.
The infamous Coco Montrese photo for their "Jezebel" wig that was dubbed racist and smeared online.
They created an alternate website, complete with another company name, that they used to pander to POC & black women specifically. Same exact products as GLW/RSW, but with only black models.
They never paid any of their models. Only on occasion were models "paid", but only with a free wig or two, and promises of "exposure".

I just bought Kat Von D Lolita. I know, Im super late to the party, but Ive always said mattes looked dumb. Even though Ive never tried them. Then I got a Maybelline Matte Liquid Lipstick and... kind got 'hooked'. I have a lot of neutral tan/red colors and then today I went to Sephora and grabbed Lolita which fit right into all my other types of shades Ive been wearing lately. The brown/red color is soooo pretty and not so dark that it looks bad on my warm pale skin which was perfect.
