Wow, I've been here long enough that this statement is actually surprising. She was more or less the catalyst for cosplay crowdfunding and the hate that followed. Cgl would not shut up about her for months.

Years ago she Indiegogo'ed a Princess Peach cosplay that was your average pointlessly eroticized garbage. She raised tens of thousands for the cosplay materials and things she would need for the shoot. The cosplay ended up being not far from a cheap lingerie Halloween costume- she didn't even have shoes and made the excuse "If I were a princess I wouldn't wear shoes". The shoot location was some random wall of rocks, and the photos weren't in focus and the metadata showed she didn't even use the camera she crowdfunded for in most of the photos.

She did porn before hopping the cosplay fame train under the name Risi Simms as this Anon mentioned. >>9137590 Even though she has some very obvious tattoos that gave it away, she continually denied it.

She also had a falling out with that guy who ran Superhero Photography when he had his crowd funded DC Injustice shoot, which was also on Kickstarter and raised like 29K. She was Harley Quinn in that project.

That of course was a scam too, as he released 3-4 photos and then said he got a cease and desist from DC and wasn't allowed to publish any more photos, allowing him to not worry about editing anything

I've never heard of her before honestly. If she did porn before, and now wants to do cosplay, then well good for her. If she scams people, then that's really shitty of her. Personally, I don't think she looks interesting/appealing enough to follow at the moment. You can become pro cosplayer without being that pro in making stuff, but then you really gotta have that charm, and the modeling skills to get your cosplay and character alive in front of the camera. Never heard of her, but I don't really see the point.

I'm not jealous; I'm in a great relationship. I'm not angry at her for "ruining" cosplay either, it's just genuinely confusing to me. If she genuinely enjoys dressing like this then good for her, but it really just seems like an attempt to manipulate desperate men, either for their attention or for their money.
