Would it be possible to make liquid (baby oil?) filled syringes with out using resin? like using a strong e6000 style glue to seal the end/plunger up?

I don't think baby oil is a good idea as well as oil in general, the wrong temperature and it becomes clumpy and disgusting.

Ive never heard of that happening to baby oil either. I think a mineral oil could be fine. I'm also a /toy/ fag and thats usually what they use in liquid toys. They never use water because water goes funky and weird.

I'd say if you want more info on it research more about liquid in toys?
Also make sure that whatever you are using to seal off the ends wont affect the mineral oil. I doubt that it would but it should be something to look into just in case.

I'm also wondering about this. I want to use a liquid because I want to put some floating objects inside that move with the liquid.
Because of this I'm guessing I'll have to fill it by removing the plunger and pouring it in through a funnel rather than drawing it in through the tip (because the size of the floating objects is too large.) However, I'm worried about the air pressure when I place the plunger back in -- won't it just push the liquid and everything back out, or create an air bubble between the plunger and the liquid contents?

Draw anon from last thread, I fixed up the other two but I was inspired by that other anon's post about animals riding on syringes, so cc pls. I think reading on the previous thread, I think this is edging towards more guro which is not what I want.. I also added a eye mask but it felt very top heavy so that was removed. Now I look at it even more I hate the tail, and I'll fix that asap.

Okay! Here we go! These socks were purchased during the first batch in March. Mines came with the bleeding defects and CC kindly replaced them with the new ones!

Just for clarifications, I am on the bigger end for the sizing of these socks (more like I passed the sizing a bit)

Thin otks (first batch):
Okay at first I was thrilled to get my hands on the otks but the wait was killing me due to the process of the order. These socks were only tried on once to see how they were and never worn again and have been in storage since.

>socks are a bit on the cream side for the stripes
>bleeding (but as stated these were a defective pair)

The thin fabric really turned me off at first cause they would stretch out and distorted the print but this was also my fault since I was on a bit above on the sizing. Overall I enjoied getting my first menhera otks but never wore them cause of the issues.

Now to the new socks. They are the new quality that CC told us about some threads ago and I am super excited about these!

Thick otks (recent batch):

As stated previously my first pair were more on the cream side and lighter pink for the thin ones but these were true to the color from what was shown on the stock image

Okay so I thought these new socks will be small like the thin ones and I sadly thought they will distort the print. When I tried these new ones, the print stayed perfectly and looked amazing! I have tree trunk legs so this was so wonderful

My final opinion:

for anyone who bought the first batch with thin socks, I highly suggest to get a new set since the thicker new version are more than amazing! And if you are on the bigger side, these new ones will not distort the print easily and will look cute but since everyone legs are different, I cannot say that the socks will 100% will not distort. Also the length is the same on both the thin and thick socks. You can see the very obvious differences in my crappy camera picture.

The only con about ordering from CC is that the wait time to get it from the factory, to CC, to you is very long imo but that could be me being bias since I had to wait from March to May for the first pair and then from May to July to get the newer ones. The wait time still seems fairly long without having the issues I had so if you need socks/tights right now, this is not the shop to go to for that since you need to wait but it is worth it now due to the new quality of socks.

Totally not experienced in this at all, but a friend wants to throw a menhera themed event as a fundraiser for some medical expenses. Any ideas on how to make this party super cool? I'm helping build set pieces and with the general atmosphere. If you went to a menhera themed party, what would you like to see?

Here's an update, I'm currently thinking up of some idea for the background, hoping to turn this into a acrylic charm! (stalking the AA thread resources). I couldn't make this as vibrant as the other two (which are currently being turned into badges! Super excited) as CMYK loves to gobble up vibrant colours, but I'm happy with this pink/red scheme. Many thanks to the previous anon that helped me fix the bun, he's definately a lot better now.

I've looked at photos of some coords and I'm still unsure about what shoes I should wear with menhera. I own a pair of those candy stripper replica (i think) creepers with the crosses and the wings which I think would work. But what about more flat type shoes for comfort? Do you think certain types of sneakers or boots could work, especially if I replaced the laces with pastel ones or ribbons?

Is Menhera basically the name for the tumblr type artists like OMOCAT who have that kind of quirky anime style and use washed out pinks and blues with gloomy-looking anime characters?

I feel like there's some crossover between them but I don't know if the former even has a name, I get the impression that Menhera is slightly more leaning towards the lolita side of things, but I quite like the more toned down items. If you have to fill it that way, use a syringe cap. Then when you put the plunger back in, invert the syringe so the plunger is at the bottom, and push out the air bubble through the top. If the air bubble doesn't want to move, tap or shake the syringe gently.

I'm not sure if would work, but i thought to create a more "old school-ish" coord with Dark Hospital with a bloody eyepatch, bloody lace bandages in arms, cross patch bag, lace topped socks, red platforms and a more simple nurse hat with no veils.

Nurse anon here,

In my original post, I had intended to ask what type of coordinate would be ideal to highlight menhera for the fashion show. Since the fashion show is held at an anime con, I was worried about people associating it with cosplay. When I wrote "go-to" look, I was inquiring about guideline/rule to the fashion or coordinate that screams out "menhera"(eg. how lolita fashion follows the silhouette,wear a petticoat, etc). I had been referring to fymenhera's post on anatomy for coordinate ideas.

As for an update, I entered two coordinate submissions for judging, one was a casual look featuring LF collab top and shorts and the other was the Meta nurse coord and the judging panel accepted the "OTT" one to represent menhera. So that is out of my hands now. I'm pretty sure that I would be the only one in the j-fashion show modelling menhera. Luckily the organiser stated the host will be explaining a bit about the fashion and will ask the models a few related questions.

With accessories in the nurse coord, I incorporated bandages, an eyepatch, face mask, those plastic ID bracelets and some medical-themed pins and am currently waiting for some more accessories from CC in the mail.
