Never been to Anime California. Thinking of it this year though.
Anyone have any thoughts or opinions about it? How's the crowd? What makes it stand out from other cons? Good? Bad? I appreciate it.
It's a party con
Coming for the first time this year per some requests of friends that are going/staffing.
How's the masquerade? Was thinking of entering it.
>Long Beach Convention Center
Fuck yeah. I've gone to Anime Expo a handful of times and the LA Convention Center is fucking garbage.

Its only the 4th (?) year and a go with friends con.
I'm staffing, and it's a really chill con. I went when it was still in Anaheim (like literally a couple blocks from Disneyland), and I had a lot of fun at it. Good for partying, but kind of a weak dealer's hall imho (it's small, what do you expect)
I went last year and it is easily my favorite con I've been to. So chill, not overflooding. Awesome staff. Cosplay dodgeball, free Coca Cola. etc

You know Long Beach and LA are two different venues, right?

No, anime California is 13 years old.
Shame I don't see any cosplay gathering info for it. Still a super chill con.
Is there a discount code?
