I absolutely know that feeling. My Josie took a year because of said setbacks. Still not 100% happy with it, but it's finally done for now. Now the big problem is I've busted my foot, so I'm stuck to a wheelchair during cons... it just means Josephine's desk is getting built to go on top and hide the leg boot. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, but ambitious about it..

CGL has got to stop furiously stroking its wig boner. He looks much better as-is than he would with a wig. That hairstyle and length always looks fake with a wig, and Cullen is a realistically designed character.

Thanks! Not really - I can bend super easily because of the multiple parts, but walking can be a pain because of the stupid ass knee fin design. Unless i properly strut one foot in front of the other i have to walk like ive shat myself

I'm working on a Mage Hawke (female) and I'm stuck on what to use for the armor. I'm thinking of using black worbla, but I've never used it before. Good idea, bad idea?

Thank you! I'm really proud of it! It's all worbla. Wrapped around 3mm craft foam. 4 layers of wood glue, then grey spray primer, then spray car paint (nissan blade silver), then clear wood varnish, then weathering with acrylics.

Worbla would be fine, just don't use black worbla. Black worbla tears easily so isn't good for big armour pieces but is good for small detailing or sculpting. Use regular worbla over the foam.

It is hard to work with and would take a long time, but Worbla in my experience isn't very durable and you'll be dealing with touchups and breakage forever.

You do you though. You can still make a good looking set. Just know that you'll have to be really careful.

A popular brand name for pvc foam is Sintra. Honestly it'll come down to experimenting with different strategies yourself. The tuts only do so much.
