These ecamples are only to give you a sense of the elements that may be incorporated into ero (corsets, bloomers showing, low-cut but still modest an frilly tops), but they are not examples of perfect ero-lolis.

I guess this might be the place to ask. Where would you say is the best place to order corsets for lolita? I've heard Excentrique has really good corsets, but are there any other brands that make exceptionally good ones? Where do you also buy quality off-brand corsets?

I've heard orchard corsets is good. I'm planning on getting one of thier mesh waspies.
If it has no waist tape, it's shit. If it has plastic boning, it's shit.
Don't get corset story shit, there's quality control issues with them and there sister companies, bad enough it's a health concern since girls try tight lacing with them. One gull got stabbed really badly when the boning came free. Really shit steel too.
Local is a 100000% better than online.

I ordered one from restyle and it's very good for the price! steel bones, waist tape, and the shape is perfect. I got the "wide hips" in black cotton. iirc they're also cheaper than orchard corsets, and if you're from europe the shipping cost isnt really too much.

I think with ero its about balance. If you're gonna have boobs out, then cover up on bottom. If you show a lot of leg with a non traditional lolita skirt, then cover up a bit more on top.

I actually like the top half of op coord and her boobs look nice imo, but the skirt looks tight in the waist and the rest of the way down is yuck. I think it could work quite well with a long aristo skirt (then i guess its not lolita anymore though)

I'd buy non brand corsets over lolita brands. Corsetry is a whole specialised thing in itself; lolita brands are mainly good at lolita.
In terms of cheaper corset brands:
Orchard corsets and timeless trends are pretty tubular, but good if you just want the look of a corset and aren't particularly curvy.
Mystic City Corsets on ebay has no quality control - you can get amazing stuff as well as absolute shite from them, I've seen detailed reviews on both.
Restyle is up and coming as a corset brand, but I haven't bought from them myself. They have recently released some curvier corsets that I may check out next paycheck.
I personally like my corsets from What Katie Did and Isabella Corsetry, but they don't have as many patterns and styles as some other brands.

I would say this is definitely ero desu, it is still modest and not trashy, the skirt is slightly above the knee with a small section of skin showing and the fabric is vinyl but the most important part is that it is STILL OBVIOUSLY LOLITA. Ero is supposed to be lolita it must be recognisable as lolita - good shape, good construction , good fabric (unlike OP where that lace is painfully cheap and automatically rules it out for being good lolita ero or not). Yes this could be more ero e.g. A lower neck line, shorter sleeves, shorter skirt but it's a solid starting point and example of not looking trashing - sometimes subtly wins.
