As for idolm@ster, I really am trying to get into it, but the games that are out (with fan translations) are idol Sims and I suck at those (also Ami and Mami's route has no translations). I did really enjoy puchimas and currently watching the Im@ anime.

Anyone get pictures of the Kongou with the ship gear?

I went to a Fetlife play party in a room rented at the ALoft. At the largest, it was about 20 people in the room at once. The person who hosted brought in cuffs, restraints, rope, etc.

I watched an Asian Haruhi Suzumiya crossplayer flog a woman in all black tied to the bed while a guy put ice on the sub's body while a crowd of nerds onlooked the scene, laughing and joking.

This was my first Acen. My home con is Ohayocon. Holy shit the level of difference between the cons. Acen was great even if I only made it up one day.

I cosplayed Madoka in her magical girl and a great artist in AA flagged me down and gave me a bottle of her Madoka inspired nail polish. It's basically the sweetest thing anyone has done for me at a con and more meaningful than any of the cosplay awards I've ever won.

I would love to do Acen again next year.

I missed you. The technical aspect of the powerpoint was very well done. There was a volume issue with the videos in general, but eventually people learned to be quieter so people in the back could hear.
Overall I was really disappointed. Last year was my first time going and I was blown away. But this year was really bland. No one stepped up to be the charismatic leader. The panelists were literally reading the powerpoint word for word even when points were left vague because someone was supposed to elaborate more. I kept hearing people behind me complaining that they had no idea what was going on or what certain types of hentai were at all even though they had just gone over them (poorly) in the powerpoint.
The energy was completely gone. There was one person handing out the group prizes which meant that giving the mass prizes away was really slow and torturous.
Big titties vs Bara titties was a really nice addition though. I hope I didn't rant too much.

Yeah, if you bought a bds you would get a key frame and some other shit for free. I've been watching for sales on Denki-gai bds for awhile, they used to be over $100, but they were $75 at the con with the free shit so I said,"shit why not?" Best decision I've made at a con dealer's hall desu.
I'm a huge denki-gai and mizu fan. It was so nice talking to the guy at the booth because he actually liked it a lot too and told me about his connections to Mizu.

This is my con haul. Not much, but I'd rather spend $100 on a series I love than shows or games I kinda like. There was lots of Fire Emblem, Matsu, and Jojo's shit in the AA.

I wish I would have actually paid attention to that booth, I probably would have grabbed an Etotama set, but had already spent how much I wanted to and didn't plan on going too far over that amount. If I hadn't grabbed the Monogatari OP and ED collection as my last purchase I probably would have grabbed it. I'm super happy with the CD's though, it came with a blu-ray with all the textless OP and EDs up to Hana, and the overall presentation of the cases and booklets are gorgeous.
