Mori General

I have an interest in mori but every other male I have seen doing mori looks retarded. Please supply menwith inspiration for male mori that does not look atrocious. If it helps at all I am of short stature, slender build and have a babyface.

Male mori has a bit more of a modern feeling to it somehow, in my opinion. If you'd dress exactly like gulls, but with pants instead of a-line skirts it would look kinda weird, or is it just me?
Rolled up pants would be adorable though

I agree with the modern statement and that is sort of what bothers me because what attracts me to mori is the rustic look. I actually do wear female clothing sometimes but things like dresses and ling skirts don't suit me.

I really love this thing I found at goodwill ages ago but I'm not sure how mori-able it is? I don't know if modding it in some way would improve it or if I should just send it back to the void from whence it came. I mostly wear dark mori and [cgl has no spoilers]strega but I want to be able to incorporate this somehow. Any thoughts?

It's alright but anything that stretches all the way down to your ankles is too long, imo.

I've been seeing a lot of lacy kimono jackets in stores lately that have a similar problem. They look mori on the hanger but when you put it on it's just a big lace monster.

Here is my first attempt at wearing natural kei, concrit please. Hope it's OK to post here! My inspiration is on the right, something feels off about the pieces I used. What kind of thing could I wear in my hair? Is my hair styled wrong? I have lots of bows and clips, not many fancy ones like in that pic, though. A-at least I felt super comfy going out like this

Your outfit is really cute! I honestly don't see anything off about it.
Natural best defined as laid back and unpretentious; so accessories, makeup and wild hairstyles are less common compared to mori.
You could add a small silver/gold comb or accessory to your hair, and that would be fine. No need to add too much.
Will post some pictures of different natural hairstyles from magazines.

Also you'll see a lot of natural ladies leaving their hair black. (which is a bit uncommon in Japan these days).

What type of question is this? I have been dressing in Mori since 2011. I am drifting more into natural kei though. Not asian.

To others, do you feel people stare at you when you wear mori? What was your most recent mori purchase/find?

For me, my pink house skirts finally arrived and they are so pretty. I also found a lot of cute tops at my local thrift store. For the price of the skirt, I got about 5 shirts.

How to get a boyfriend into mori? Mine doesnt care about clothing so should i just give him suitable clothes to put on?
