I love texture and tailoring details in lolita. I'm in the process of selling anything vaguely sweet or classic from my wardrobe (minus a few nostalgic pieces), so I can just fill it with Atelier Pierrot and Sheglit/BPN stuff. All black and jewel tones, with minimal white or ivory involved.

I'm keeping pic related, though. I hunted for it too long to give it up.

This is a real eye opener. All the black seems more naturally added her than when shoehorned into a dress with print. Maybe its because with a printed dress I am scanning to understand where op picked up certain colors and how they work being incorporated into the coord. Here instead of everything needing to suit the dress, the whole outfit can kind of holistically work together.
