The music IMO was good, but the setup was pretty awful. They had the DJ's up on stage and pushed right to the back, making it nearly impossible for them to engage with the crowd or gauge their interest. That being said I know the first two who played and asked them why the fuck they would play that gig since it's not their usual scene.

As Anon said, there were some great cases of people walking in unaware and showing obvious confusion / disapproval of the goings on which was pretty funny. I saw a couple of vaguely European men walking around shirtless to show off their no-gains in what I believe was an attempt to woo the kanojos.

The cosplay ranged from abysmal to pretty good, as someone who went with the goal of picking up I was disappointed by the turnout. A lot of overweight girls squeezed into characters that they didn't fit. A lot of obviously unattracted girls with fuckloads of make-up. A handful of genuinely attractive cosplayers.

The food on offer was shit.

Katyuska - Too short for runway and most commercial. She's dropped some weight though and could probably pick up gigs due to her fanbase.
Eve - I haven't seen her in person, but she pictures tall and she's slender. Probably the most suited to modelling?
Evey and Black Cat - Both too short but have a good alt look. I can't see them outside of something like Suicide Girls.
Ardella - Nope. Horrible bone structure and photographs short.
Kiara - Has the height and weight for it but her face is fucked up. Some companies might put the extra work in to cover up the freckles but her bone structure doesn't seem too great.
Yasemin - Too short but she photographs tall. Her face looks like she's been on meth though.

Someone else made a lousy joke encouraging others to punch people in the dicks. Moved to Melbourne. Cathrine was working on the most insanely amazing Samus/Metroid suit with actual electronics and shit when we broke up but it exploded the week before Supanova Melbourne back in 2011 (or 12), shortly after that she quit cosplaying (pretty tragic personal reasons) and is now moving to Brisbane. I've asked her if she will ever Cosplay again but she said it's too expensive though I feel other personal reasons may be behind the decision for example she had to deal with many creepy rapey photographers and things like that.
