Can't believe we've had forty threads, I'm glad Lain is loved by so many.
Let's keep it up for our Goddess.
Old Thread is here
Forgot to include it in the op.
Does Lain inspire you in any way?
If it was not for Lain I probably wouldn't have had gained the confidence to start messing around with the hardware in my computer a lot more.
Without Lain I wouldn't have completed my first musical album, or met a group of people in the wired. I love Lain so much
I didn't know what I wanted to major in for a long time, so I was kinda putting school off for awhile.
Almost have my bachelors in Computer Science now.
Trying really hard not to kill anyone so I don't fuck up this chance to spend eternity with Lain.
That's one thing she would understand, and that's certainly a lot more forgivable, not that I'm trying to encourage anyone of course.
I know this feel all too well. You're not alone mate.
That's your position on the chart?
Or that's your favorite Lain?
I think it's both, though I was talking about my position on the chart.
I like depressed Lain too, I want to hug her and help her feel alright. Pretty lame and selfish...
I always get the bottom left for that chart.
Bottom right here
Political Compass is heavily biased towards the left and has a lot of irrelevant questions. "There is now a worrying fusion of information and entertainment." - What does that have to do with government?
You see a lot of https://8values.github.io/ recently but I hate theoretical questions. "It is very important to maintain law and order." - what the hell kind of question is that?
https://www.isidewith.com/ has relevant real world questions for several countries but it's a bit long. A personal favorite is http://www.quiz2d.com/quiz/ which hasn't been touched in 5 years but has some fun extremist and lolberg choices.
because she's Jephthah's daughter:
>34 When Jephthah returned to his home in Mizpah, who should come out to meet him but his daughter, dancing to the sound of timbrels! She was an only child. Except for her he had neither son nor daughter. 35 When he saw her, he tore his clothes and cried, “Oh no, my daughter! You have brought me down and I am devastated. I have made a vow to the Lord that I cannot break.”
>36 “My father,” she replied, “you have given your word to the Lord. Do to me just as you promised, now that the Lord has avenged you of your enemies, the Ammonites. 37 But grant me this one request,” she said. “Give me two months to roam the hills and weep with my friends, because I will never marry.”
>38 “You may go,” he said. And he let her go for two months. She and her friends went into the hills and wept because she would never marry. 39 After the two months, she returned to her father, and he did to her as he had vowed. And she was a virgin.
What makes you think so?
