In the centre of the chamber King Arthur sat upon a seat of green rushes, over which was spread a covering of flame-coloured satin, and a cushion of red satin was under his elbow.

in a human language please

it was the original Welsh for the story about King Arthur and the sword in the stone. That part I think means "None shall pull this sword out except one by the aid of God."

Are you fluent in Welsh? If I wasn't such a loser, I'd like to learn it. It seems like such a neat language
>>2873520
no lol i just found the same part in those two stories, the one that was translated and the one that wasnt. im a fraud
if you could learn any language instantly, which would it be? for me, its a tough choice between old irish, old english, and latin
if you answer nipponese you are hereby banished from this thread under pain of DEATH
>>2873858
dude wtf i hate spoilers now
>>2873860
Yeah they don't work on /c/ as you have found out.
To answer your question I'd genuinely like to learn moonspeak or Latin.
>>2873997
3° for me
>>2873858
>mfw when I know english and moon but can't learn latin
why
i like this one a lot
>>2874023
from what ive heard, in latin you have to conjugate a lot so that must be really tough
>>2874028
I'm lukewarm. It has a nice proportional aesthetic to it, but at the same time it looks too cartoony imiho. Typically it seems like the most skillful art of Aertoeriae will be depictions of her in action poses, which is ashame, because I feel like the characterization is often lost there, and the subject becomes more generic.
What is it with Fate gaining so much popularity wtf

Latin really isn't that hard to read for an English speaker after first year my only problem was vocabulary but writting Latin us overly hard due to the endings
>>2885956
damn. thats good news. maybe ill take a latin course at my uni. my only experience with latin has been some mozart and deus vult memes.
speaking of deus vult how many images do we have with crosses in them? even small ones like >>2881311
is that a cross on the flag? i cant tell
no cross in this one but i like it a lot. i think its the hair
I'm surprised to see I've got alot of stuff with churches, but crosses aren't as prevalent

It works with the version from the artist's original tweet. (https://twitter.com/fal_se_0/status/693728916230373376)
Can you link me to the file that you tried to upload?
>>2886920
Sure
http://www.fast-files.com/getfile.aspx?file=136617
How do you go about finding an image from a tweet from a year ago?
>>2887098
can you search browser downloads for the filename?
>>2887098
Google image search leads to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Saber/comments/4kgi2i/saber_closeup/ which has the source in the comments.
I figured out what was 'wrong' with the .png you tried to upload, the answer is that 4chan image uploader has an EXTREMELY lazy filter that just blocks everything with a banned phrase in it, in this case ".jse". There really isn't anything you can do about it other than changing the image in some way and resaving it or converting it to another format.

Don't worry too much I took classical latin for three years in high school and I am still able to read it. My advise is that u should after a few weeks in the course start reading church latin, the meaning of the words are closer to English. For example cathedral in classical Latin means a chair while in church Latin it means... Well..a cathedral but critically the grammar is mostly the same as classical Latin hence it should help get familiar. Other examples of different meaning are semen in classical meaning kid as in small child. Student means hard worker and magistrate means a teacher.

If you google "Possible malicious code detected in image file" you get this thread: https://yuki.la/q/265041 where Anonymous 265091 explains the reason behind the mysterious error message.
If you open up the suspicious file in a text editor you'll see that it does in fact contain the string .jse in ASCII - not out of maliciousness, but pure coincidence. Every file contains thousands of lines of data so you're bound to encounter any given phrase eventually.
You can verify that the .jse theory is correct by downloading any .png from 4chan and adding an iTXT chunk containing the string ".jse" in TweakPNG. You'll get the malicious code error when you try to upload the .png with the new chunk, but it'll upload correctly once the chunk is removed.
>>2888085
typo, 'text editor' should read 'hex editor'
dunno wtf this is but it looks cool
>>2873125
Just got her in Grand Order
>>2888160
it begiiiiiins
>>2888085
Interesting, Thanks for the answer, although I don't understand alot of what you're saying lol. I'm frequently amazed at how quickly the 4chan electronics can read and compare text and so many images and so much text. They must have some no-nonsense hardware sitting around somewhere
What's this Saber called?
