The anime had a point that you cant apply logic when people are involved, people act on emotions, which is why Being X lost on one regard, despite tanya having proof of his power, she still refused to admit that he was god due to emotions. As the generals would have won the war, but didn't, because they didn't take into account the emotions of the opposing nations
