How far are you into it?

One of my favorite parts of the VN/anime is how Okabe develops/changes over the course of story.

Although if you don't enjoy his antics right now, I don't know if you'd fully enjoy it in the long run. Part of the fun is Okabe's wacky Organization and craziness.

Definitely stick with it, though. I hope you love it as much as I do by the end.

Not too far, he stopped Suzuha from leaving using the D-mail. I just find it kind of annoying when a misunderstanding or issue wouldn't occur if he didn't act so autistically about it. Some of the organisation stuff is fun but not all of it.

I will give you that misunderstandings in all this Japanese media is pretty annoying. And there are a few scenes in Steins;Gate which get really dumb, worse than most things, honestly. But besides those few scenes, everything else is fantastic.

Seems like you're not stopping any time soon though, so that's good.

Completed it for Suzuha, Mayuri and True endings now. I'm really glad I kept going. Game made me cry a bit and the fake ending on the true ending was incredibly cruel.

Fantastic. Happy to see another person enjoy Steins;Gate. Also, anyone that hasn't watched the anime or read the VN, don't read the rest of my post. I'd put it in spoilers, but /c/ doesn't have those.


But yeah, a lot of the emotional scenes in the latter half of the VN really got me good. Suzuha's letter, Faris' correction text, and pretty much the last two chapters or so.

Funny enough, on two subsequent playthroughs, I had forgotten about Suzuha's letter (2nd) and Faris' text (3rd), so the sadness hit me extra hard.

Such a loveable cast though. I can't wait for Steins;Gate 0 to get translated. Or for the anime to come out. Either or, preferably the VN though.

No. My post is completely blind hope and excitement leading to false information. Sorry.

But the fact that they haven't really shown anything for it, Chaos;Child, or Occultic;Nine might indicate that it won't air this year. Maybe.

If anything, it actually could air before the localization, the summer season seems mostly set in stone, but since not everything from the fall season has been announced yet, there's still a chance for it to pop up.

I just hope we get the VN first.
