Ritsu is perfect wife material. She is cute, fit, easygoing and down to earth, and funny. The other Keions are great too, but the rest of them have more negatives than Ritsu does when looking at them as potential wives. Yui is a complete airhead that would drive me crazy because she would never do anything, ever. Ritsu may be lazy but she is nowhere near as bad as Yui is. Ritsu could be reasoned with and taught to do things. Yui would just forget to do everything I told her to do. Mio and Mugi will both get fat once their metabolism slows down in their early-mid 20s. Many would think that Mugi being rich would be a huge positive for her, but to me it isn't. Even though she would be kind about it, she would always expect more than what I could provide for her on my own. I also would not want to leech off of her family's money. Mio's personality is adorable but overall I prefer Ritsu's. Ritsu is just more interesting to me. Azusa may be the cutest but she would be the most high maintenance wife out of the group. I don't want to deal with her tsundere bullshit for 60 years. Jun is a fucking shit. She deserves no explanation beyond that. Ton-chan would be a better wife than Jun would be.

I used to be pretty elitist with my anime and I didn't like watching anything overly popular or cutesy. I decided it would be better to open myself up and stop being a cunt, so I started broadening my horizons a bit, and one of the series I ended up watching was K-On, since I'd heard of it before and it seemed sorta fun and easy to watch. I didn't want to take it too seriously initially but I fell totally in love with it and I am now completely obsessed with it. I have no regrets. Anime like K-On is now my favourite sort of anime, y'know, relaxed, funny anime that doesn't make me want to cut my wrists or give me a headache. That said I do still watch stuff like that too, I don't want to limit myself.

I think one the reasons K-On gelled with me so much is the music factor; I love music, I am a musician and I was in a band for a while. It's a pretty big part of my life, more so than anime or games. I also loved the high school setting, having a good time with your friends and the whole, "enjoy it while it lasts, 'cause it only happens once" theme. I'm pretty sentimental and I love that sort of thing, it means a lot to me.

As for Ritsu, well, I actually liked Mio first, and I still do. I love all of them equally. But I ended up sorta falling for Ritsu more than the others for various reasons. She's confident, independent, strong, super cool and laid back, caring, honest, and just radiates positivity. Plus she's a rocker, and I love her tomboyish, stylishly unkempt look. She's the kind of person I know I could have a relationship with and enjoy being around.

What I want to say with this is that K-ON! grew up on me and became better and better the more time I spent watching it, because I actually ended up caring for the characters (especially Ritsu, >>2660464 summarized pretty well in the last paragraph why she is so perfect). They felt real and very close to me, and no like characters created for a show.

It's very difficult to me to feel strong emotions (or any at all) when watching or reading something, and because that I've never been really obssesed with anything, but K-ON! have changed my life, made me feel emotions I've never experienced before. Now I do or think about K-ON! related things everyday.
