The fuck is ticket counting? Google didn't enlighten me.

I took the tickets from all of the dump trucks, making sure the companies didn't lie about what they brought to the building sight. One guy had a skeleton yard ornament as his "co-pilot" and kept trying to sell me hash oil.

Loading and unloading isn't bad. The pay is usually a little better than minimum wage but you get a workout at the same time. Just be sure to wear back and knee braces because it wears on your joints after a while. If you get into UPS you can always get promoted. I know someone who became a supervisor and then left UPS to work for a logistics company. Right now he is a director making $120k a year. I also know someone who started at UPS then became a driver and now he makes $80k. There are a lot of options available to you.

I worked at UPS for 6 months and, 15 years later, still sometimes have nightmares about it.

What was the straw that got you trashing the job?
I'm sure management is bad in a lot of places, but it stands out when most aren't knowledgeable at all in their field.
