As you have noticed everything around you in emerging technologies is made possible and powered by the lithium battery, the state of nevada is even passing the distributed energy grid act, which will allow factories to create own microgrids of lithium-ion battery storage facilities thus rendering the main electricity grid almost unnecessary. tesla cars are also made possible.

ALB and SQM are better pics than FMC. SQM is a chilean company and is currently in some legal trouble so it is a risk to take a position, but may be worth it. ALB (Albemarle) is a lithium giant, even a superpower that is currently dominating the lithium distribution in the global market, they are currently waiting for a permission to open a new low-cost lithium brine factory, when that happens they'll solidify their prime position in the lithium market by keeping the largest share if not expanding.

the Global X Lithium ETF Index has both of those companies, but also some others like TSLA, which is not a lithium producer but will be a lithium battery manufactorer as they state, harm it with their volatility.
