German guy here about to graduate in finance.
I would like to move to the US for work, how are my chances? Should i stick to german firms or would US firms hire a foreigner like me? Or would they rather not because of visa trouble and so on?
Also, any tips on 'american' style CV? any templates? Thanks

You might as well apply, you need them to accept the work visa in the first place before you can even move here.

Welcher Studiengang genau?
BWL oder WiWi?
Apply to Rodl & Partner
Find jobs in Frankfurt first. Then consider transferring to the United States in a few years. Frankfurt is the financial hub not only for Germany, but for Europe too.
If not Frankfurt, try Zurich.

Big firms like to have foreigners in their pool of employees.

Rodl and Partner is big where I am at (Chicago) and they always want german speakers so I'm assuming if you work with them in Germany you might have a couple projects in the US, might even help sponsor a visa for you to work here
