Is America the only culture in the world with that kind of work-till-you-die spirit? Where we all have big ambition, lust for power and success? I went to Europe this summer and they pretty much just sit around, it's totally different from the USA
>>
>>975197
That's why they're poor and refugees are raping their assholes.
>>
Japan
>>
>>975197
Japan and USA.

But it comes from different places.

In japan it is the social.norm for a harmonious society.

In the usa it is how you pull yourself up. So it comes from an individual success viewpoint
>>
In North Korea they work til their dead.
>>
Japan. They're afraid to use their vacation days for some reason
>>
>>975199
raping our assholes? yes, sometimes that happens.
but poor? not really. at least not in places like switzerland, austria, etc.
Don't know what it's like in other places but in Austria working morale is quite high. it's not as extreme as in the US or Japan, though. Here most people see work as something that needs to be done in order to earn money so you can have a good life. Why work 60h or more per week and earn a lot if you have no time to spend it?
I'm not saying that working hard is bad or anything but I get the feeling that many people in the US are just overdoing it.

>I'm not saying that working hard is bad or anything but I get the feeling that many people in the US are just overdoing it.

I wouldn't really agree.

Most people in North America(at least from my knowledge/experience) are lazy AS FUCK. They work the bare minimum, NEVER stress themselves physically/mentally and then wonder why they're overweight and why they're making a pitiful salary. - They don't understand that to get ahead in life, you need to be working both on the clock, and off the clock.
>>
Most people in the southwest US do just sit around. In the east coast people work so much because rent is so high and have to have a few side hustles to afford it.
>>
Im from the netherlands, people here are also lazy mostly. when i went to the usa on vacation, i also saw lots of lazy unmotivated people - they seemed way lazier than europeans actually. However there were also more people that really pushed to the max with what they did - in europe we seem to have less of those. Europe seems to be more leveled in terms of how much people work, while america has more extremes.
>>
>>975398
I'd agree with that.
In America if you work an office job there's a big culture of "climbing the ladder" and busting your ass for a promotion. Other jobs maybe not so much.

yes london has that as well. Get rich or die trying·

the reason nobody works a lot in europe is because for twice the sweat you only get +50% more money.

>>

Perhaps Europeans have realized there's more to life than working yourself to death to enrich the Jewish takers.
>>
>>975443
But social mobility isnt actually better in the US , its just they condition us (on purpose or not) to promote consumerism that we are all "temporarily embarassed millionaires" even though without luck or nepotism (or extreme frugality) youre fucked.

Its easier to encourage credit card debt and vapid whorish spending when you have everyone thinking their boats coming in any day now.
>>
>>975827
OH MY GOD YOU POORFAG RETARD SOCIALIST COMMUNIST SCUM, WHY ARE YOU SO LAZY???? YOU SHOULD BE WORKING AS HARD AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN AND YOU'RE A TOTAL FAILURE BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT WORKING HARD HOOOOOOOLLLLLLYYYYY SHIIIIIIIIIITTT!!! GO DRINK SOME BLEACH YOU CANCER!!!
>>
>>975831
People have different needs from life.

If you enjoy being poor forever then enjoy.

Also a lot of European countries work just as hard, you people are seriously delusional if you think Europe is this wonderful socialist paradise where you work only a fair amount and your boss cares and wants the best for you. And the government works for the people instead of itself
>>
>>975436
It's like you've never been to Shoreditch.
Don't.
>>
>>975197
Just think of it like different soil at different areas. The systems that we have cultivate a slightly different breed of people. A culture of
'laziness', but try and take away the pejorative from that. It just so happens that these lazier cultures are a bit more inward facing and have to deal with external threats like immigration. But, then that immigration is sort of necessary because you need to infuse new blood to the ecosystem, for a sort of 'hybrid vigor'. Kind of neat, really, if not totally accurate.
>>
>>975840
>where you work only a fair amount and your boss cares and wants the best for you

But that's exactly my experience!
>>
>>976056
Hybrid vigor is a proven myth.

The old saying goes the murricans live to work, as europeans work to live.

and yes, murricans are hardest workers, longest days etc. among with ant-people japanese.

and no, european economic situation is not bad because of that, it is mainly bad because euro is destroying the content.
>>

>In the east coast people work so much because rent is so high and have to have a few side hustles to afford it.

This, especially the northeast. Southwest is kind of the same but so many rich families move there so you'll see plenty of slackers. The northeast is where most of the middle class went, only because our lower class gets evicted then freezes to death and the upper class have the mobility to go somewhere less fucking cold.

Mexican leaf blowers work very hard. It doesn´t mean they add a lot of economic value to anything..
>>
Americans literally make 50% more hours than Dutch people. And worse secundary conditions.
You can say they are oh so poor in the Netherlands, but they pretty much spend their money on not having to work.

Feminism fails for the same reason in the Netherlands because women dont feel like working more than two or three days a week. So making a carreer is out of the question.
>>
>>976231
Well, Dutch people work 1425 hours and Americans 1789 hours.

You've obviously never been to germany if you think europeans just sit around.
>>
>>975366
Either that or they have to pull triple shifts or work three jobs to make ends meet.

OP, it's because America has long stopped respecting the workers. You use them, toss them, and then replace them. If you're being used, tossed and replaced, you don't help your fellow man because there's a miniscule (basically zero) chance of being the one who uses, tosses and replaces.
>>
Around Toronto people are pretty big workaholics
>>
>>976857
>Either that or they have to pull triple shifts or work three jobs to make ends meet.

Literally no one does that.

I want to see a spreadsheet of these people's monthly budget in a pie chart, the ones who supposedly work "3 jobs just to make ends meet". I GUARANTEE they are either not working as much as they say they are or spending it utterly retarded shit.

News flash: Minimum wage jobs ARE NOT for living on, let alone raising a family. If you work minimum wage and you're above not in school you are a disgrace
>>
>>976992
so if someone has to work hard to provide for a large family that makes them a disgrace?

You know, for people that like making money through investment, one would figure you would be more supportive of wage-slavery, as the more wage-slaves there are the higher your profits
>>
>>977004
>so if someone has to work hard to provide for a large family that makes them a disgrace?

You shouldn't be having a family if you're working minimum wage.

Also how the fuck do you get to 25+ years of age with NO SKILLS that allow you to earn more than min wage? You're literally working at the level of a highschooler as a grown adult. That is pathetic as fuck.

Minimum wage jobs are only for students and immigrants. For anyone else it should be shameful to be doing the most unskilled labor a mental retard could perform.
>>
>>977007
If you are born into a poor family, you probably are going to have to work a minimum wage job for a significant period of time, I never made over $10/hour until I was 25, but now I'm doing a lot better and making around 41$/hour

A lot of people who work minimum wage eventually go into a higher profession.

>For anyone else it should be shameful to be doing the most unskilled labour a mental retard could perform

Ah yes, because people working in emergency services are in unskilled labour a mental retard could perform.

If you hurt yourself and have to call 9/11, remember the edgy comment you wrote on a Mongolian basket-weaving board about the same people who may save your life.
