Trading is extremely difficult but if you're persistent enough and learn from your mistakes then you might be able to make it. I'm trading stocks right now but I do have about a year of day trading experience. I mostly day trade forex and futures and the most difficult thing for me has been managing my emotions and sticking to my trading plan. I spent a few years trading demo accounts before I risked any money and I can't stress enough how important it is to have a defined trading plan that you can stick to. I highly recommend that you try out stockfetcher, it takes a while to get used to but it really is an excellent tool.

just buy bloomberg/factset if you're serious about this. much better investment in the long run
