Someone made a post about this. The idea goes like this. Follow a bunch of people, retweet their stuff. They will follow back. Unfollow people that don't follow you. Rinse and repeat.

Sounds like it could work. I might try it out.
>>
>>617361

Works for me. Up 500 followers in 3 days. It's starting to take off. Today I alone I made over 100 followers without following anybody.
>>
>>617361

What software do you need for this and what else, proxies and/or VPNs or dedicated IPs?
>>
>>617370

Yes. You need Leenux too. Go back to /g/
>>
>>617361

would this method work with instagram?

I don't know. I assume it would work anywhere where people get social cred from having lots of friends, or followers, or anything.

lol anon, multiple studies show that there weren't even 450,000 people who used twitter before OP came up for his plan. People are just exaggerating things for their own ends now

This exactly. I've got multiple accounts, this one took ~8 months. It scales pretty well, once you get up to about 20,000 it becomes incredibly easy.

Fuck if I know, I hadn't even looked into it. I"m using this to push people toward products/links. Also under the table selling shoutouts.

Also, forgot to mention I use a python based twitter bot for follows/favorites/unfollows. It helps a TON.

Nice! What topics are the accounts on?
I have one that is about tech news and one that is about diy stuff for girls.
both at around 200 followers after a couple of days.

What issues are you guys running into?

If you're on windows download and install python via the exe.

Download the script, extract zip.

Open CMD, navigate to folder you extracted it.

Type py to enter python console.

Then follow the instructions on the github page.

>create dev account on twitter and generate OAuth token
>Manually edit this script and put those tokens in the script (what the fuck does this mean?)

That's as far as I got. Fuck, I am just too retarded I guess
>>
>>620983
1. Download Python 2.7.9 , Install it!
https://www.python.org/downloads/
2. My computer -> Right click -> properties -> Advenced settings -> Environmental variables -> edit path ->Add ";C:\Python27\Scripts"
3.Click Start
4. Write "cmd" in search
5. Write in cmd "easy_install twitter" or "pip install twitter". You choose.
6. Now you have twitter library

Negatory,

Download the script. Extract, edit the file with your auth information from apps.twitter.com

Open CMD, navigate to the folder it's in.

Type py or python to enter console.

Then you can start using the commands:

not working. Can I just start python.exe?

And as soon as I am done, I just type those from twitter bot etc. into the console, and it executes them?

In what way does this script unfollow people that don't follow you back: does it automatically only unfollow someone after, let's say, 3days since you followed them? Or if not, how do you set this up?
>>
>>617374
Instagram is even easier. I paid a freelancer to do it, but you could do it this if you know how to code - write up a bot to follow/unfollow, rinse and repeat, AND comment the fuck out of every account you can find. If you look on any Instagram page these days, you'll find photo comments like "Dope photo bruv, follow me back?" Then when you get ___ followers, you can sell shoutouts for ___ per pop or just sell the accounts to some idiot like I did last year.
>>
>>620839
Nah man, Twitter and Facebook are dead. They've stepped up their game so that it's impossible to advertise without buying ads. For example, Facebook pages used to have crazy reach, and xxx,xxx fans would actually net you thousands a month, but now the algorithms are "improved" so that all you see on your news feed are stuff from friends and even the biggest fan pages are a fraction of their previous worth a few years ago. Same thing goes with Twitter, botting it is pointless.

If you want to bot social media, go with some new crap like Instagram, or IDK, Vine or Snapchat or whatever kids are using these days.
>>
>>622625
And still I make 2000$ off Twitter every month.
>>
>>622625
Or all of them.

Really, if you've got the time it's best to just expand across all, so when one of them fucks you, then you aren't fully fucked. Although I don't even bother with facebook now.
>>
>>617313
How did you get so many followers?
>>
Same way I did: grinding. Follow, flush, repeat. Spread across multiple accounts. Curate content and publish on a regular schedule.
>>
>>623749
But doesn't following and flushing a lot of people trigger some twitter algorithm and deactivates your account?
>>
>>623778

If you push too hard, yes.
>>
>>623785
Alright, so after some research, it seems that the follow limit per day is 1000. Is the follow limit the same?

Guys, after following this thread and the other one (its gone) i decided to try it.

So i had my twitter account since 2010 but never used it, it was easy to set up as a tech news profile.

So i deployed the git hub twitter bot, and in 2 days im looking at 100 followers.

I don't know if im doing anything right.

What i do is basically follow people with the bot that follow major tech news outlets.I tried manualy favoriting and retweeting for some people with Tweepi, folks who have lots of followers.

Am i doint it wrong ?

Just went over 1000 followers on one of my eight accounts set up about two weeks ago. I was gaining slow as fuck, then yesterday got 200 in one day. Seems going over 1000 is pretty key.

hmm, no, this won't work.
you need to download this file to some folder and execute python in the same folder: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rhiever/twitter-follow-bot/master/twitter_follow_bot.py
that, or copy the file to the folder where your python lobs are located, but I have no idea where this is in windows.

this is the path: C:\PythonXY\Lib\site-packages (info from https://docs.python.org/2/install/#alternate-installation-the-user-scheme). so, download that file (twitter_follow_bot.py), move it to that folder and run:
python -m twitter_follow_bot
to check that it works. if it doesn't, it should throw an error. otherwise, it shouldn't say anything.

Up to 2300 followers today across 8 accounts, 1100 of those in one account, with that account gaining 200 daily.

When should I start inserting affiliate links? 2000 followers on one account? More?
>>
>>626761
2000 is what the guy in the last thread suggested. Even if people start unfollowing, it will be a drop in the bucket at that point. Also, can you update with your first clicks/conversions. This entire process is fascinating.

>>626840
For anyone still interested, log into your google account and go to adwords. Then, on the very first page, go to skip guided setup at the top. IMPORTANT *If you go any farther than this on adwords without selecting skip guided setup, you will never be able to go back with your current google account you are using, meaning you will have to pay for it.*

If you still want to use keyword planner without paying but you didn't use the skip option, you have to use a different google account.
>>
>>626836

I'll keep updating in these threads. Really this is the only outlet I have for this thing. I'm not on any other forums and it's too insignificant to bring up with my friends
>>
>>626871
how long did it take you? I started around a week ago and am at around 600 followers right now, making around 50-60 naturally/day.
>>
>>626849

That makes sense. Thanks for the advice.
>>
>>626874

About two weeks. Initially I was following 300 daily, switched to 500 daily a few days ago. Started using Tweetdeck to schedule my posts, have all eight accounts set up with three weeks of 5x daily posts. The plan is to go back every week and add two weeks of content until I'm several months ahead, while using my spare time to set up more accounts. I think a good first goal would be to have 20 accounts up and running with a month minimum of content behind them. Should take me a week or two to reach that goal
>>
>>626880
how do you gather your content? And how long does it take to schedule that many posts? I was thinking of just letting an autohotkey script that automatically posts picture+text 5-6 times per day run.
>>
>>626880
300 daily? I kept hearing rumors that the limit for newer accounts was 200 a day. Have you run into any problems with twitter yet?
>>
>>626883

I was using ahk for posting, but it was unreliable and messy, plus it was just pictures without text. It takes me about two hours to gather content from image sites, and schedule them in tweetdeck with captions, for about a month of posts. Maybe less now that I've worked out a few scripts to speed the process up a bit.

>>626884

I have not been blocked by twitter once in the past two weeks. I was getting locked out a bit when I tried this a few months ago. Not sure what I'm doing differently though. Probably the fact that I'm pushing content while mass following.
>>
>>626887
I think I understand. The algorithm reviews your account and sees human activity factors and decides you just love twitter. I've been scared to follow more than 150 a day but now I'm more confident to try it out, thanks.
>>
>>626894

Just set up a ton of accounts. If you lose one, bfd. Learn not to fuck it up for the rest of them.
>>
>>626887
>but it was unreliable and messy
what exactly? I thought I'd just write random lines like "amazing" or "wow" with hashtags in a txt file and have it pull those when posting with AHK.

>Maybe less now that I've worked out a few scripts to speed the process up a bit.

are we talking about AHK scripts for tweetdeck here?
>>
>>626899

That could work, but I feel like image-specific text is more engaging. I'm just copying text from the image source.

Yes, I use short scripts that reduce my workload. It's not fully automated, just little macros that replace repetitive keystrokes. I do the same thing when entering big piles of inventory on Amazon. Just little things to help retain my sanity
>>
For people using the bot and complaining about the mobile number, go on your phone or tablet. Go download "TextNow," and you'll have a new number.
>>
Interest in starting this. How many of you post aboiut stuff that actually interest you? Is a bot necessary early on? How many accounts for starters. How many blogs to make. Are those timer link deals as shit and annoying as they seem. I run into them all the time and I can imagine people would avoid that shit unless it's content they really really want like videos.
>>
OP Here.

I'm also using this for my actual two businesses.

Have you ever thought about using your already existing network to generate staffing for a series of online call centers, very low operating costs relative to a real life call center and employees would be easily able to work from home, think of it all the 16 year old living in their parents basements could be working 2-4 hours a night. Keeping it online offers potential for expansion like no other business. Let me know what you think.
>>
>>627771
Why would I offer call center service in the US when I could do it overseas and not worry about labor laws, minimum age, etc?
>>
>>627775
Because the US gives you access to the networking potential of the massive group of followers that you just made this thread about, assuming they arent all indian followers on twitter, I admit I did assume they were mostly white people.
>>
Got around 3000 followers in almost 3 weeks.
Big thanks to the guy posting about the Python stuff, not sure if it was in this thread or the other one.
Using python you have to spend way less time on doing the daily process of following/unfollowing (takes me not even five minutes to unfollow all those that didn't follow back and follow 500 more users).
Currently only have one account, but now that everything is set up I'll go on and make a few more, only 2-3 though. The most work is scheduling tweets with tweetdeck.
Isn't there anything out there that makes that last process go faster?

Currently pushing 6 tweets a day. Also I use a script that grabs pictures from any reddit boards and stores them in a folder, this also saves a lot of time, given that there's a board on reddit that matches your twitter account.
>>
>>619774
I don't use Twitter but youtube has that too. If you have a 'significant' number of subscribers you are allowed to subscribe to more.
>>
>>627970
Python guy was in another thread. Was going to start the process of learning the basics today.
The theme for my first twitter has a big female following who enjoy spending their parents money. So won't be too hard to get them to click. I know most of the people here making a good amount won't share too much of their secrets so I'm sitting here making a game plan and researching different things. Wish me luck anon.
>>
>>627970

Using the Python script does it follow people with a specific interest? Can you use it to target Twitter fans that like baseball for example?
>>
>>627993
I can't even think of a good niche and it's been days for me. Don't think I'm cut out for this.
>>
>>628004
Hollywood?
Gaming?

Would those work? I am just thinking of something that has a big following...
>>
>>628010
I think I'm over thinking it. Like one idea I had was to sell feminist shit to girls in all girls liberal arts schools like Smith college. The only problem is I can't even find anything remotely feminist or even something that would be appealing to them.
>>
>>628019
I think the point was to get these people to simply click on ads. I don't believe anyone here is actually selling shit, just hosting a space that can have affiliate ads or adsense or whatever.
>>
>>628004
I'm going to start with subjects I like, know a lot about, and have tons of content. When I really get some footing then I might consider doing a blog so I can get some type of sponsor banners and Amazon shit in. Right now i know what I want to do but I need to learn how to execute it.
>>
>>628000
Yea you can use a script that follows everyone that used a specific word in their last tweet.
Let's say you use "baseball" as the keyword, then you'll follow everyone that used "baseball" in their last tweet.
You don't want to overdo it though, so it's better to set a counter so that it stops after you've followed 100 people, then you use an other keyword to follow 100 more. If the users are online they're more likely to follow back.
>>
>>628019

You're over thinking it. I like shoes, vaping, Japanese cars, and so on. I have two accounts for each of those interests. And I'm just mass-gathering pictures to post. Eventually I'll either pump affiliate links or just set up a few simple web stores, which are themselves just affiliate links, and pump those.

Anyone have any solutions ? I tried a Hushed free number with a VPN for US, but it couldn't send a text message to the number.
>>
>>630556

Don't virtual SIMs exist? Maybe $1 a pop or something like that. Also doesn't googlevoice give you a free number? Others are doing it somehow.
>>
>>629534
Yes, it does. Tweetdecks is owned by twitter, doens't look like a good way to hide your ip.

>>630556

Buy Private Proxies and stop wasting your time
>>
I am really thinking about giving this a shot since I have access to the tool to actually properly analyze shit on social media (work in social media analytics, mostly working with gigantic excel spreasheets). Not really sure what network to go for though.
>>
Anybody have experience with the 2000 followers limit? I can't seem to follow more people than that right now. Does this reset at some point or something?
>>
>>630755
Twitter is pretty good, they don't really care about bots, they just pretend to.

>>630859
Unfollow everyone and follow again.

You can only follow 2.000 until you have 2k followers. After that is 2k +10% of the followers
>>
Awfully tempted by this thought.
Anyone running all of this on a Mac? Any specific programming differences?
I take it the python scripts have to be run for each separate account?
>>
Is there a script that targets all the followers of a particular user? I'd like to do that,
I don't know python.
>>
>>630996
you can use tweepi + the chrome extension to follow 40 followers of a particular user at once and you could write an AHK script to do that too I guess
>>
>>630967

>>
>>631003
Half of Silivon Valley ain't in this thread bruh. The Windows install info isn't useful.
I know everyone's trying to guard their golden goose, but a named example of one of these accounts would be of great use (hell, it ain't gotta be your own, just one you recognize...)
>>
>>631367
why do you need a named example?
>>
This is related to the previous twitter thread but I thought I might ask here.

The OP said he retweeted amazon affiliate ads but wouldn't that just mean the commission goes to whoever posted the ad and not him.
>>
>>631484
A small id tag is added to the link of the person who shares it from the source, which is amazon. If you just retweet someone else's affiliate link, they will see the more clicks, not you.

I'm guessing if what you said was true, OP found popular affiliate links, went to the source, got the link, and then tweeted about them. Or he could have been looking for more content on his account so he just retweeted whatever.
>>
How do I make it so that my python commands run for a different twitter account?
>>
So after you got around 2000 followers, how do you start making profit out of them? I just started a DIY account and I'm not sure people that follow me would buy something. Can I just search for someone who pays me to post a link to their website? if so, what website can I use to easily obtain a bunch of links that are going to pay advertisement to me? Should I just change my niche?
>>
>>631951
change the information from the Twitter dev app
>>632148
the other guy was using amazon affiliate program, which aparently gives you a 4-10% cut off anything a person buys within 48 hours of clicking on your link.
>>
To those who post Amazon affiliate links, how do you post them? The html codes that they provide are to long for twitter limits.
>>
>>632465

They offer an abbreviated link as well.
>>
>>632467

Well, I am stuck at creating a new python app for the new account because I don't have a second number. Is there any way to work around that, without having to buy a new sim card? (From Austria here so can't use Google voice)

i just followed 500 japanese people in 15 minutes, retweeted like 50 random tweets, and got 2 of them to follow back

my niche is japanese transexuals/crossdressers/shemales/porn users

i post random japanese trends/engrish coupled with anime pictures every day

i plan on becoming an affiliate and linking onaholes and dolls and lube and shit like that once i get 50,000 followers

i'm only at 4 followers though, so wish me luck

i predict i will get at least 30 more by tomorrow and then it will just build from there

Guys, I have 5k on Instagram. What can I do with them?

>>
>>627970
Sup, I trying to get all this started. Can you tell me how you got the bot started?

I have so far
>installed python 2.7.9
>installed twitter libary
>created an app.account + app
>edited the oauth tokens into the "twitter_follow_bot" script.
>edited the follow parameters
>when I start the "twitter_follow_bot.py" via python I get a "invalid syntax error" or just nothing happens

Did I forget something or did I edited something wrong in the script?
>>
Fuck that script, you're going to need a million phone numbers if you start to do this seriously. Just get a spare computer and script up tweepi in ahk. My follow/unfollow scripts take about 20 minutes each, so a single computer running fulltime can handle 36 accounts.

My follow/unfollow laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad netbook. It was $20. I may invest another $50 or so in it buying a solid state hard drive.
>>
Here's a bit of ahk script to take your follow by followers scripting next level.

;
; MODIFY FOLLOWING LINE: text file location
;
Run, C:\(FILE LOCATION).txt
Sleep, 5000
Send, {CTRLDOWN}g{CTRLUP} ; "go to line" in notepad
Sleep, 1000
Send, 1{ENTER}
Sleep, 1000
Send, {shiftdown}{end}{shiftup} ; highlights line
Sleep, 500
send, {ctrldown}c{ctrlup}{del 2} ; copies and deletes line
Sleep, 500
Send, {ctrldown}{end}{ctrlup}{enter} ; goes to end of doc and inserts line
Sleep, 500
Send, {ctrldown}v{ctrlup} ; pastes to end of doc
Sleep, 500
Send, {ctrldown}s{ctrlup} ; saves
Sleep, 500
Send, {altdown}{f4}{altup} ; exits document
;
; this is a simple cycling script.
; EG, one could follow users from a different twitter
; handle every time a script was run, by inserting
; this script into a "follow followers" script.
; it copies the first line of a txt file,
; moves that line to the end of the list, saves, and
; closes. the copied line can then be pasted elsewhere,
; and the next time the text doc is opened, the next line
; will be the first line. the list can be any length.
;
; have questions? use google. you're lucky i'm sharing
; anything at all.
;

everyone figured everything out by themselves, don't expect to be spoon fed. spend some time fixing the problem, that way you'll also learn a lot more
>>636049
you don't need a million phone numbers, simply log in to the account on your phone and you're good.
also with the python script you can follow users based on their latest tweet, that way you'll only follow active users. i compared the backfollow rate, using tweepi I only got around 5% or less, while using the script i got around 10%.
>>
>>636092

You don't want all of your accounts tied to a single phone number. I work with dozens of accounts: tying them all together would be catastrophic if twitter decided to ban me.
>>
>>636096
I want more than one Twitter account. Is that possible?
Yes! You can have more than one account on Twitter. You can sign up for an additional account here.
Please note, each account must have a unique email address associated with it. An email address can only be associated with one Twitter account at a time.
If you're using one of our mobile apps, you can add additional accounts to the app (on iPhone & Android).

https://support.twitter.com/articles/20169956-managing-multiple-twitter-accounts

they wont ban you
>>
>>636100

They absolutely have the ability to do so, and a few months ago banned MILLIONS of bot accounts.

Use the python script if you want but I'm going to protect my assets as best I can
>>
Are there any other botting programs or is the python script the only one?
>>
>>636111
So you're saying its smarter to use autohotkey to unfollow? The script for following and faving in Python is pretty handy though, but you're saying it's a risk using that?
>>
>>636118
literally any programming language or scripting language can do it.
>>
>>636135
Well I know that, but is there anything prepackaged because I don't feel like learning to script.
>>
>>636134

To use the python script you have to provide a phone number to twitter. The lazy will just use the same number across multiple accounts. If one account gets popped, they're likely to shut them all down.

It's all dependent on how you run things. But using an ahk script to automate tweepi works for me and avoids that risk.
>>
>>636143
Ah, like that. So far I only got one account up and running, so I presume if you want to use 2+ accounts will need a phone number?

what if i found a niche that has some popular attention to and just did it all manually right from my phone without ever touching a computer. could be a lot of work but i have plenty of free time in college.

could i build a follower base in the 5 -6 digits in some type of time frame and then somehow make money form it?

i see the process of getting followers but how can this net money in my pocket?

thanks
>>
>>638879
Yes, it is possible. That doesn't mean that it is a good idea. You could search a certain phrase on Twitter, and then manually follow 400/500 people a day. You would also have to unfollow the people that don't follow you back manually. All of this takes a lot of time and even though you mention you have a lot of free time, it will get boring as shit.

You would also have to post the affiliate links through your phone, that could be quite a hassle. If you have acces to a computer, I advice you to use it as well. It will make everything a lot more pleasant and more clear.

If you have any intention of doing this seriously and making money, get a computer. A Raspberry Pi costs $35 and is absolutely perfect for running twitter scripts.

>fourth time

w-what

I'm just telling you that if you want your accounts to survive long enough to become something you could monetize, you have to do it the old-fashioned way -- adding content and following, for months, for free.

Bots will just get your account smothered in the crib before you can get a single ad on them.

Source: Do this for a living
>>
>>639986
I'm adding content, but it is mainly retweeting the biggest tech blogs out there and some tweets of my own, and interacting with followers whenever they interact with me.

How do I make sure bots don't follow me, or atleast make sure I don't get fucked over by Twitter. The only thing they are good for is that they raise my following/follower ratio. But in the end I need real people to follow me because they are the ones that click on my links.

Also, do you advice to have multiple accounts? If yes, do you link them together in Twitter or does every account have a seperate e-mail adress? Thanks.
>>
>>639986
Honestly I prefer doing it myself, feels more in control and hands-on idk, also I suck at scripting
>>
>>640246
>I'm adding content, but it is mainly retweeting the biggest tech blogs out there

This is not adding content, this is retweeting other peoples' stuff

Interacting isn't really necessary. I don't do it unless it's fun, and be sure to delete your @s after a day or two, otherwise your TL will look like shit to new followers. When you reach 5k followers or so you can ask other accounts in your niche (that are a little bigger than you) to trade retweets, which you of course should only do via DM.

Bot accounts following you are fine, they will eventually get deleted and it's no black mark on your account.

Separate Gmails for every account. It takes 2 minutes to make one. Running multiple accounts increases the difficulty and time required exponentially but will have a better payoff later.

>>640264

It's literally the only way to do this. The chances of bot accounts surviving the months and months it takes to build and audience are basically nil, especially with an uncomplicated script that just batch-follows people. Twitter's algorithms notice that sort of automated following.
>>
>>640547
I still don't understand how you are getting money out of Twitter. Do you have a site that you tweet about or what?
>>
>>640547
will i be fine using tweepi? i usually follow and unfollow 200 people at a time, 4-5 times a day
>>
>>640560

There's a billion ways to monetize Twitter. Driving traffic to a monetized site can be a huge moneymaker once you've got a big enough following, but that's probably best for huge accounts (100k+)

Myself, I don't monetize anything that has fewer than 20k followers, there's not much point.

>>640563

Sure, but that sort of follower churn will probably get your account suspended eventually. Check out Twitter's guidelines on following and then you can figure out what you can safely do with your current follower count.

https://support.twitter.com/articles/68916-following-rules-and-best-practices

A suspended account isn't a big deal, you usually just have to email them and ask what's going on, they tell you why, you say "oh ok won't do it again" and they'll reactivate your account. Then follow fewer people per day. Repeated suspensions for follow churn will get your account and IP banned.

Are there any programs/scripts that will get all the followers of similar accounts and rank them in the order you should follow them?

Like I'd rather follow an active person who is likely to follow back (followers to following ratio) who retweets a lot.

You said you make a living off this so I have a few questions since I'm aspiring to do the same.
How many accounts do you operate and in what niches? What has been the best way to monetize your accounts for you? You mentioned driving traffic to a website but what do you post there, adsense, affiliate links, content locker?
>>
>>640574
and also what do you think is the best way to monetize when you have 20 - 100k followers?

C'mon bro, I'm willing to help but you do have to figure some things out for yourself.

This. I already gave advice above.

Any idiot can build a good-sized Twitter network, if they're willing to work for free for months, staying disciplined and grinding away at it. There's no real shortcuts unless you strike viral gold somehow, it just takes an immense amount of time, for a payout of nothing. But it's easy.

The hard part is figuring out which way you want to turn that network into money, and that's for everyone to figure out on their own. There are dozens of ways to do it, and if you sit down and think about it you might come up with one that nobody else has thought of, and start repaying yourself for the hundreds of hours you worked for free.

Or you might fail and all the effort will have been for nothing -- welcome to working for yourself.

I've got a strategy that's working. It took me a long time to figure it out, by myself. You too need to figure it out for yourself. Your idea may be better than mine but I'm not going to just give a potential competitor the end result of thousands of hours of work for nothing.

There are many ways to monetize internet traffic, don't think about monetizing twitter, think of it as traffic.

Affiliate Networks
You can lead them to a landing page with all sorts of offers or simply adsense.
Amazon Associate links

Dude with his super complex monetizing scheme is probably fishing for suckers to sell them some course or is a victim of IM "gurus" himself.

These dudes usually take you for a merry-go-round for something that is pretty straightforward and simple, the simpler the better.

Keep shit simple, you have a bunch of people who follow you on tweeter, point them to your offer and make money from them.

Everything else is just wank devised by IM artists who make money from you not from their "super complex" "networks"
>>
Anyone else disclosing their affiliate links? Is this a big deal for twitter or Amazon or can I just post an affiliate link and say "omg I want to buy this" without disclosing it?

Just did a count, I'm up to 5500 followers across 9 accounts. Three accounts are rocket ships to the moon and the rest aren't, so I'm going to triple down on the successful ones and make six new accounts with similar content. I've also stumbled across a content goldmine that I believe has potential to pull more followers than all my current accounts combined, so I'm setting up three accounts for that niche as well.
I fully believe I can triple my followers by the end of the month. 15K+ by the beginning of March, at which point I'll begin seriously monetizing (and pushing my website, which itself is monetized with google AdSense).
Combined with the fact that followers grow at an exponential rate as I get more retweet and favorites, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to hit 100K within the next quarter. Especially now that I'm dialing it in.
This could legitimately become a very real revenue stream by summer. Maybe I'm getting too far ahead of myself, but I'm seeing real possibility here.

what kind of niches are you working in? I have two accounts so far and one of them is really nice, while the the other one is kind of not taking off. Are you tailoring towards men/women, older/younger people?
>>
>>642188

Kind of all over the board, but the ones that are taking off are self-help, fashion, and (fantasy) lifestyle oriented.
>>
>>641753

This.

You have an audience. Tell them where to go and make the place they go to is somewhere or something that makes you money.

That is it.

Anyone who tries to make it more advanced that that is making thier money selling you a how to, 30 part email course, delivered in bi-weekly segments, rather than the ridiculously convoluted scheme their own course is telling you totally works.

I'm currently building a program to help me build accounts faster. It'll do the usual things like follow/unfollow, schedule tweets and that kind of thing. Ontop of that it'll build a database of potential followers based on whos following similar accounts that I designate.

It'll then take that database and rank users by a number of factors to more efficiently choose who to follow, things like how many similar accounts are they following, how many tweets/followers/following they have.

Who knows, it could be futile, but for me its an exercise in programming more than anything.

yeh I totally get that, thanks anyway!

oh yeah Fashion was actually the one I wanted to start next. Do you just post pictures of outfits/shoes etc.? I am not a very /fa/ guy, so I know jack shit about what would work with a fashion account
>>
>>642508
What people consider popular "fashion" is just good photography and good looking models.

I doubt you could make real money from advertising nxt lvl shit anyway, even with acceptable knowledge.
