How viable is it to run a website and make money of it? How many visits are the minimum for a successful site? I planning on making a few websites on stuff I learn and curious about the viability of it.

Google it you lazy cum rag

If its just some SEO affiliate bullshit like every other retard who thinks they can get rich quick then dont bother. If its something with actual substance like a product or a service then its possible to make good money. I used to run a music website promoting indy bands, subscription based and i was pulling in 95k a year before taxes.

I made 110 BTC in fees from a unique gambling site I made and ran from January-March 2015. Took me a weekend to code it in PHP/MYSQL and literally all I did was post 1 thread on Bitcointalk and it blew up. It's still the 2nd most replied thread in the Bitcointalk Investor-based games forum. WeeklyPonzi.

Making money with ads or affiliates in insanely hard.

Making money with a product or service is doable.

That is why I ask.
When researching this, all I find is people selling their SEO affiliate strategy.

This. Also, if it's a site with user accounts, you could always shill "vanity badges" and such. People will pay surprising amounts just to have some extra icon or symbol next to their username.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
