Why does everyone here seem to believe that China regulating their side of the Crypto market is going to damage or end Crypto in the long run? If anything, this is only going to benefit Crypto as a whole.

If anything China beginning to regulate is the first initial sign of true adoption, did you really think Crypto would remain in a state of wild west for ever and be adopted by major players? Regulating, especially by China signals they're interested in seeing the Crypto market as a whole continuing forward.

China out right banning Crypto would be a sign of a market not being adopted, China regulating is a sign that a market is being adopted if we take anything away from this, it is that we may be about to move away from the wild west of Crypto and into a new era.

How stupid do you have to be to think this way. China is shutting down all there exchanges with no plan whatsoever, they just hit the emergency off switch with no backup. They could be out of the game for years until their government sorts this shit out.

It's not ending crypto the market will just crash for a little then when exchanges get licensing chinking will be trading away
Chinks own the most btc trade it the most it will but a dent in bitcoin

Closing unlicensed markets. And rightfully so, if we want to see main stream adoption regulation is essential. There will never be a trillion dollar market cap if we never change and prepare regulations for the market.

Of course China is reacting this way, it's China. But the fact that they are willing to allow trading to continue once exchanges bring themselves up to scratch proves adoption.

The only basis for that is jihan saying they need to get a license that doesn't exist yet.

I think once regulation starts it'll get harder to make crazy gains...But yes, its a sign towards implementation and a good thing in the long run.

>regulating a decentralized currency
something feels really off here
