Needed textbooks will cost me $600+ and then I'll be screwed when rent is due. Where to get free plz?

It used to be the case where a text book gets used for several years, allowing new students to buy 2nd hand books. But now it's not possible because the publishers now publish new editions every year and instructors get kickbacks for using new editions. College textbooks are a total scam.

Literally google [textbook name] pdf. Also your school library almost certainly has several copies of each textbook; just scan and print out what you need.
