So here's the score. I'm sitting on about 220 LTC. I bought some at $75, some at $68, but most of it at under $40. Seeing LTC crash from 90 down to 30 terrified me; I'm shaken up over this and I've pretty much lost faith in the coin altogether. If I sell now, I'll have made a decent profit, but I'm afraid it'll blast up into the stratosphere again. My instincts tell me to convert to bitcoin... but my FOMO tells me to hold for a couple of months and see where this road takes me.
Be honest: does litecoin have a future? Is there still a reason to hold it? People were FUDing like crazy, then it spiked to $90 and people were apologizing left and right. Will it happen again?

ltc is a great long term hold along with btc.
Litecoin only performed when Bitcoin did and always crashed harder than BTC. I'd maybe let it rise a bit more and then convert.

litecoin serves no purpose that bitcoin doesn't do better
scamcoin like 99.9% of alts
BTC, LTC and ETH are currently very correlated and they are all expected to rise in a few weeks.
Also LTC isn't going anywhere. People like to use it to transfer money between exchanges since it's fast.
I wouldn't completely write LTC off, just wait for good news and don't fall for the hype when you've reached your sell-off target.

Your fears are unfounded. That has never happened.
