I was locked out of my Coinbase account. I have been unable to log in for two weeks.
I submitted a ticket to CB, but they have no responded in all this time. As far as I know, they have no customer service email or phone number.
What the fuck do I do? I have a few grand in my Coinbase account and I want it. It won't ruin me or anything, but it's my fucking money.
I am seriously considering hiring a lawyer to do...something if these fuckers don't respond to me in a short period of time.
Those fucks owe me 100 dollars from once I first opened an account in April. They haven't said shit. Just bot responses.
Post on the reddit coinbase or their twitter that you're gonns sue em and some rep will respond to you.

That's a good idea.
If you're in Illinois, I'm a lawyer.

I'm not in Ill-noise, so I guess we're mutually out of luck though.
Could you tell me exactly what sort of lawyer I should look for if I do have to get one? I've never actually needed to hire a lawyer before, so I'm clueless.

Why did they suspend your account ? We're you transferring funds directly from exchange wallets to your coinbase wallet instead of using your personal wallet and then transferring to coinbase wallet ?

General litigation, contract disputes, corporate litigation. Not someone who does DUI law, though in theory such a lawyer should be able to do it.
Honestly if I were on the case my first step, and in all probability last step, would be to send a letter threatening a lawsuit to their corporate agent. I might also send complaints to the SEC or other government agencies if it were particularly egregious. Finally, I'd file suit in the appropriate forum, probably under a breach of contract theory, and maybe under some state consumer protection law as well. There could be other causes of action. Possibly some kind of corporate negligence, though their TOS probably tries to keep you from collecting that. The other worry would be what the TOS requires in terms of forum selection (i.e., mandatory arbitration? federal district court in california only? shit like that is typical).
