So I exchanged $650 worth of LTC for OMG on Exodus via Shapeshift 6 hours ago and haven't gotten my coins.

What the fuck boys? I contacted them and they said it was a failed transaction and opened up a ticket.

What do now?

"Exodus" is derived from "Escape" or "Exit" "Epic exits, even", such as Moses from Egypt or "Ultima III"

tl;dr It means you drop them as a customer and never go back

This is most likely an error on shapeshift's part. What can happen is that shapeshift will send the coins to one of their temporary addresses instead of your own. They usually get it fixed within 24 to 48 hours. Your funds are safe.
