You can legally buy adrafinil online. It gets turned into modafinil by your liver. It works about the same from experience despite what moda shills say. This said, take with milk thistle, and don't take it if you drink heavily because it will damage your liver even more. Side effects of moda can include headaches and sleeplessness along with anxiety. Plan your day before you take it otherwise you'll just be awake as fuck for a minimum of eight hours. It's effects vary from person to person as far as wakefulness and duration.
