When using Blockfolio, say I purchase btc at a certain price. I enter that info into blockfolio. Now I purchase an alt coin. Do I edit the original transaction to show my new balance?

I think I either do that or I do it as a sell for the amount of btc I spent?

And then what do I do if I buy more btc at a lower price? I add it as another transaction and now I have a pool of btc bought at two different prices. Now when I buy and alt what btc rate do I alter? Please help I almost just chocked on my own spit in so dumb
