I'm pretty sure that even with a bot it still wouldn't be profitable. Maybe a bot and access to a botnet so you didn't have to pay for thousands of IP addresses, but there's probably better ways to use such a botnet.

I made a bot on python that surfs through every single Bitcoin faucet I could find on the English web. It's passive and profitable. I'm currently adding updates that will allow it to run through every bitcoin faucet in the world.
I plan to do the same with alts, although there aren't as many faucets around.
