To an extent you are, consider this, if you bought ARK at 3.8 USD when bitcoin was at 4300 that's around 0.00088 BTC.

Now if you hold that through the crash, and sell at the same 3.8 USD when bitcoin is at 3200, you would get 0.0011875 BTC,if BTC ever goes back again to 4300, you now hold more bitcoin than when you started.
