Bitcoin has been around for 10 years. And in that that 10 years it has never achieved more than becoming a glorified western union replacement.

No one uses it as a means of exchange on a large scale and never will. It is more or less a store of value though as it's ability to send money more efficiently and cheaper than banks gives it utility. But that being said, It will never NEVER become a means of exchange like cash that's used on a daily basis.
