What's going on with ETH right now? I bought about $1000 worth around $300 since that's been the support for months, but it's broken through now and looks to be heading lower.

Metropolis, and Plasma/Raiden are all coming out soon, so what could be the actual reason it's dipping?

Is it something besides the China fiasco right now?

How does that make any sense though, since ETH is just as directly convertible to fiat as BTC is? I get that for alts where you need to transfer them to BTC before you can cash out, but it doesn't make sense with ETH or LTC to follow BTC.
