The white paper is here. What do we think?
>>
>>3359139
literally a shittier version of xrp hyper ledger
>>
>>3359151
I don't see any overlap of XRP. Maybe Hyperledger but that isn't their focus
>>
>>3359151

Hyper ledger is a blockchain framework ecosystem.

XRP is a international money settlement system built on blockchain.

LINK is similar to XRP in the fact that its focus is on settlement of payment but instead of just blockchain it utilizes oracles to allow for external data to be read from off different blockchains such as ETH, BTC, XRP, Hyperleger ect.

Aeternity tried doing the same thing but if you're clued in you'll know they fucked up everything and still have no product.
>>
>>3359835
Exactly, Oracles can provide any data to the blockchain, not just payments
>>
>>3359835
>>3359877
Let us not forget SmartContract has a working product and proof of concept
>>
I hope all you anons have secured more than 1 crowdsale whitelist, good chance this will sell like ZRX in the fact we get limited amounts to contribute, don't let this one slip.
>>
When does it officially go live? 12 am september 7th?
>>
>>3360300
I guess its been delayed, the countdown now says 13 days.
>>
>>3359981
I'm thinking of doing this, but I'm just paranoid they'll reject all applications from the same IP address if you have sent more than 1 application.
>>
I put in 3 ETH at the presale

Am I gonna make it?
>>
>>3360455

>vpns dont exist
>>
Scamcoin

Just look at the team. 2 people with no background plan to revolutionize crypto... Lol
>>
>>3360503

>>

>>
>>3359139

Is this reverse psychology fud or the autism leaking out
>>
>>3362408
Try 7 years. Just this project has been 3 years in the making. I'm only shilling because I already got in on the presale.
>>
basically their idea is "give us your money and then it will be valuable."

If you get in the presale and whitelist, enjoy your eventual x10 gains, I enjoy meeting up with some of you anons at end of year to celebrate such a great year.

FUD bro, don't forget the exponential increase of newfags from /pol/ /b/ and /r9k/ is enough to dillute threads into nothing but FOMO and FUD.

1 billion tokens....

valued at $5usd each for crowdsale (with bonus included).

Evaluating at $5billion market.

Great advisers on board, but yeah no. Too much competition and way overvalued before it's even released.

I am staying far away, may buy some after the crash once it releases to exchanges.
>>
>>3362612
The fugg are you talking about 5 billion? Are you trying to say some retarded shit to bait someone else to do the math for you?
>>
>>3362612

hello?

So I sent some eth to a presale address that was being pooled by a bunch of other anons here. I think we sent 303/300 eth. When they release the tokens all I have to do is add the contract address to MetaMask and the tokens will show up right?
>>
>>3363132
You know half of those were scams right?
>>
>>3363170

Assuming he sent the the offical presale pools.

>>3363132

Literally no one knows, it's all speculation. Some have said because we never accepted the individual presale terms by email that we are legally not entitled to receive LINK tokens thus being refunded.
>>
>>3361557
Bancor had some equations I didn't understand....
>>
>>3363200

But this is speculation, and it doesn't make sense because it would be too much work to go through each pool to determine the original owners transactions.

So two/three most likely cases.

1. Everyone in pool gets refunded.
2. No one gets refunded, everybody receives LINK
3. Those who sent after the prescribed ETH limit as per email will be refunded.

Good luck anon, LINK is a REALLY big potential investment.
>>
>>3363200
>>3363225
Impossible to track ppl back to their E-Mails and THEN ALSO Blockchains they sent from.
Even a lot of non Public pre-sale adresses got pooled by multiple people or they have sent from multiple wallets and therefore nobody has to care for a refund.
Way too much work to try sth like that. Just my 2 cent
>>
>>3363132
Would also like some clarity on this. I sent eth to a pool and just assumed link will show up in my metamask addy sooner or later. Is this the case?
>>
>>3363222
Yeah, but those were jewish ones.
>>
>>3363132
>>3363492
I also believe that the tokens will simply show up in ethplorer.

>>3363200
>Some have said because we never accepted the individual presale terms by email that we are legally not entitled to receive LINK tokens thus being refunded.
This sounds like bs though.
They'd have to tie your identity to the wallet(s) used to fill the limit. And I don't think they asked for your wallet address(es).
>>
>>3364136
So if I used myetherwallet, they will auto show up there right?
>>
>>3359139
https://chainlink.typeform.com/to/ZlJ2US
So I filled out this form yesterday, no I'm not US or Canada, yes I'm interested in running a node, I gave them my email, am I now on the whitelist?
>>
>>3364166
If your contribution got through, yes. Only way presale/ICO tokens have ever worked afaik.
There's an ethplorer link in myetherwallet itself.

We're going to have to wait until the tokens actually get distributed though, which will be after the public ICO finishes.
I believe the public ICO will last a couple of hours at the very most, but how long we'll have to wait after that for the actual token distribution is to be seen.
>>
What do I do with the tokens once I get them? Babby's first purchase.
>>
>>3364216
You kiss em and hug em and never ever let em go.
>>
>>3364216
Hodl
>>
>>3364224
I'll go get a little red ribbon to put on 'em then.
>>
>>3364216

lol
>he thinks he didn't miss the chainlink ICO
LOL
>>
>>3359139
chainlink is strong. I have the majority of my life savings invested there.
>>
>>3364277
ICO just refers to the direct sale of coins/tokens at a fixed price, i.e. before they hit the exchanges and are subject to market pricing.
The public ICO on the 19th is still an ICO.
