Is it just confirmation bias? Or do Fibonacci retracements actually work in some circumstances? It's really fucking with my head because I can't come up with any reasonable explanation beyond confirmation bias.

confirmation bias.

That's all of TA. Try using TA to make concrete predictions in advance that can be falsified. You probably won't do better than chance long-term.
>>

so, what? You only buy/sell based on fundamentals and news?

What about buying into uptrends and selling downtrends? Like, buying into a coin after 3 green candles on the 4 hourly and selling on 3 red candles or at a stop less after considering volume. There does seem to be a degree of momentum when a trend is established. Also, big round numbers, like when BTC hit $5000. They either bust through those levels or bump up against them and then dip.

If one wishes to master market economics, they will study alchemy and sacred geometry instead.

>At arbitrary numbers, the value either goes up or it goes down.

Well thanks for the advice buddy.

exactly, but then ull be too high to sell ur neo at 50

>big round numbers

Nigga, you can't be that blind. At numbers like 5000, 7500, and 10,000 we see exactly what the OP described: A bust or a boom. Honestly OP, it sounds like you're on the right track. Don't let these biztards discourage you from learning and applying your analyses, both technical and fundamental

No, we don't.

it's meme magic
>>
>>3349358
i dunno. the patterns seem quite real, but the fib reasoning sounds like total bullshit.
