Can I get a quick primer on the 'best practices' to get started on cryptos? I am en europoor.

I would like to be able to buy multiple kinds of coins. So I made an account in bittrex.

What is the best wallet for my BTC or coins?

or
BINANCE???

The best software wallet is electrum. The best wallet in general is a TREZOR hardware wallet.

Is the standard procedure to first get BTC and then use BTC to buy altcoins?

I guess it is next to impossible to find a direct exchange for altcoins, right?
