You can earn interest when you take ark off exchanges and vote for one of 51 staking delegates (like a masternode)
One con is Ark appears to be Heavily manipulated by bots (price tends fluctuate and then pump).
I think this, BLOCK and other coins that aim to connect / execute contracts on other chains are good future bets. I dont like binance or bancor though but I did have a peek at OAX.
