So I'm a recent college grad, still looking for a job, poor.
Only have about $2-3k to throw around in crypto. I already hold some BTC, ETH, and a tiny bit of Monero, and a few weeks ago bought XRP at $0.28, near the peak around then.
I'm in this shit for the long-term hodls. Now, considering Ripple is to be used as a medium for fiat bank transfers, and the company wants to tightly control their asset, is this not good for the long-term?
I really want to buy some shitcoins before they moon but the bank transfers on my gemini acct (which I just recently signed up on) are still tied up in ACH. Should I just get the fuck rid of cripple and spend it on something useful? (eyeing the Walton shill threads right now...)

XRP has always been and will be a corporate scam. there are better coins.
there's no faith in this coin
look at the past price evolution graphs: it moons when some rumour moves, but then it easily bounces back

Well, while we're talking about scamcoins, anyone have an opinion on SAFEX? I like the decentralized dark market aspect, being as where I started with BTC back in 2013 (and obviously didn't hold any). Just don't know if it'll suddenly moon once Chille comes out or not.
Update, bought $230 of walton (101 WTC). If it goes to $10 I'll have $1k, cool beans. Guess we'll see
