I am planning on setting up a website to host an ethereum smart contract for betting. However it is illegal in my state to host online gambling.
Is having an offshore company, offshore server, carribean gambling license enough to be safe?
I wouldn't do well in jail.

If the website is purely crypto based, I think it is a legal gray area.
Should be ok as long as it isnt hosting in your state

Keep your personal info anonymous and set the company offshore in somewhere like Costa Rica or Curacao, don't make ur personal details public or anything that can link you to it, these countries won't share ur info even if the American governments tries to get it from them, when u file taxes report ur earnings but don't report u earned them off fucking gambling. That's the reason most gambling companies are run by anonymous ppl
