5000$ is inevitable. There may be no reason for this other than people actually want to see how high can it go.
>>
desu I didn't expect it to happen so soon.

I mean if bitcoin goes up so does everything else, so there shouldn't be any pink wojacks from anyone other than the nocoiners.

People will cash out, but other morons will buy in and carry it to $10,000. They'll then cash out and more morons will buy in and carry it to $100,000.

So long as stupid people exist, it'll continue to rise. or until the government shuts it down.

Really, I don't even understand what gives Bitcoin value. The basis of the value eludes me. FIAT is backed by countries with armies and is based on the economic growth of nations. Cryptocurrency is just this fucking nebulous thing drawing value from nothingness. It's superpositioning itself as being worth something despite being worthless. It's like an existential argument against libertarian ideals by showcasing how an unrestrained system does nothing but masturbate itself until it dies.
>>
>>3304055
Just think about it rationally. Till now only nerds and friends of nerds are in crypto. At least half the population hasn't even heard of it with huge cash reserves (women and girls).

This shit will go to $1m and I don't want to miss it. Bitcoin has won.
>>

There are so many things that don't make sense and everybody takes it for granted. Bitcoin keeps increasing in price because people buy it because it keeps increasing in prize. It's a huge bubble that won't pop (in the near future).

Similar to pensions and social security. Mathematically those don't work and should crash but they never do.
>>
>>3304145
Okay, I just looked it up.

Cryptocurrency only has value because of the religious belief in their value. They're entirely based on faith. They're based on the idea that believing in them gives them power, and so the entire basis of their worth is that other people are willing to pay for them.

They're only valuable because other people are willing to pay for them, despite not being a commodity of any inherent value. Despite being nothingness.

Crypto is a cult.
>>
>>3304198
>They're based on the idea that believing in them gives them power

So just like gold or fiat
>>
>>3304198
Christianity is a cult and has survived for thousands of years. I was a sceptic like you but when I realized that bitcoin hasn't even reached the female market I became a believer.
>>
>>3304067
btc is backed by the need programmers and geeks who use it to buy their neet things! neets hyping it to their friends and family is what creates a bubble that they can eventually profit but it'll be at the expense of morons who will buy at $4000+ per btc since most winners got BTC under $1000
>>
>>3304209
It's like gold except you don't have gold, and like FIAT except you lack any broad economy behind it or a military in front of it.

Basically, if the sun flares up 20 seconds from now, there's no evidence cryptocurrency happened. It's all gone. Immediately. Without even grains of sand to prove it ever happened.
>>
>>3304198
so like any other currency?
>>
It's the psychological barrier that will get struck down. Nothing more. After that it might go on for a tiny bit, crash hard, at least 3 suicides will be posted here and we're back at square one.

Next year is going to be bigger. Buy Etheteum.
>>
Don't even think about correcting me lol. TLDR: do not kill yourself when the inevitable crash happens, just hold if you didn't sell and your profit will be even bigger.

Well, other currencies tend to be supported by a lot of guns.

So I guess that's what Bitcoiners need to do. Start stockpiling weapons. Preferably unlicensed automatics. And keep them safe in bit compounds where you gather together and have speeches about the downfall of FIAT in favor of cryptocurrency.

Make sure the buildings are mainly wood.

Technically everything is 'fiat' meaning people collectively believe something has value and hence it has value. Bitcoin and gold are deflationary 'currencies' meaning they appreciate in value since they become scarce. What people call fiat currencies like cash is inflationary since it can be created out of thin air as debt or printed so each individual unit of say a dollar becomes less and less valuable over the years.

Meanwhile, I hold to a moral imperative. I see you as possessed by avarice and worthy of pity at the least and being actively punished at the worst. I see you as being my lesser. I see you as being inferior. And there's no amount you could accrue and no task you could succeed in that would change that. You are inferior to me by nature.

If it's happened to NVidia, it's doubly happening to AMD. And it likely stretches across everything since everyone has already been fighting over supply of the same memory.

There was already a memory shortage taking place, and now it's reaching a critical level apparently.

More or less. But I am going to see Bitcoin burn and the people behind it die. Long term goal.

Nice get, by the way.

>Thoughts, speculation, wojaks?

It'll most likely continue to moon for quite some time until the cash flow in dries up and the market becomes unsustainable and crashes yet again.

This time I bet it goes up to $10k before the crash, the hype is so big and even normies are pouring in more money.

Why are you so invested in hating crypto? Is it just FOMO or are you on a personal crusade? If the second one –how is that working out for you?
>>
>>3308097
Personal crusade. Very well. The enemy to rise up and destroy has inspired me in my darkest hour and given me a purpose.

I have always hated libertarianism for being greed-driven self-centered horse-shit predicated upon personal gain at the expense of society and order. Bitcoin just represents everything I hate in such a glorious fashion. It's greed. It's avarice. It's people exploiting one another for pennies that only have value because they tell themselves they have value. It's vicious back-biting bullshit created by one of the biggest douchebags on the planet to serve as a stand-in for gold because his poor, horrible, tactless ass was never shrewd enough to weasel into the gold game properly.

Don't know what FOMO means.

Hey where's that guy who said the price was "priced in" and the halving would have no effect on the price and Bitcoin was never going above $1k again?

Heh, you probably feel retarded and own some scammy altcoins you were shilled.

Even if the price crashes hard and takes a year or two to recover I won't have to wagecuck ever again.

And best part is, I'm so used to living frugally (being a conservative healthy white male it comes naturally) that my bitcoins will last me decades.

Keep being mad you didn't buy and by all means keep buying these scamcoins shilled here

It said while literally displaying it over 24 posts

Reading up more, how the fuck is Bitcoin even profitable? It seems at this point that it's a rental scam. You need to buy special hardware just to get involved in this shit unless you fuck around with outsider coins. It's literally just a gold supply in the hands of one person who sort of lets other people play around with it while remaining at the center in absolute control.

There's no way to go out and find more bitcoin to upset dictatorship. It's entirely economic control being given to whoever runs the show. Under the guise of "muh freedom" where freedom doesn't exist.
>>
Won't hit $5000 until Sunday night, followed by a crash back down to $3000 so business new channels can say, "WE TOLD YOU SO!"

>Under the guise of "muh freedom" where freedom doesn't exist.

Now you're understanding what the 21st century is shaping up to be.

Like, the value seems based on slave chains. People who are invested will say good things about Bitcoin no matter what. Because Bitcoin has to be Bitcoin. Bitcoin has to be gold. Bitcoin has to be the standard for finance as far as cryptocoin because if Bitcoin loses its status or gets criticized, they directly lose their investment.

So even if a better cryptocurrency or system came around, they'd shit-talk it relentlessly just to fucking murder it and play up how great and worthwhile Bitcoin is. Even if Bitcoin was a fucking shadow in comparison as far as tech and standards.

Am I the only one seeing this? Am I taking crazy pills here?

Replace "Bitcoin" with "petrodollar" in your post and you'll see why your observation, while true, doesn't matter.
